I'm playing devil's advocate, but how different is this from expressing schadenfreude at Charlie Kirk? Even if we start to argue "well someone died, that guy just lost his livelihood and will be in abject poverty" that's just my point, we now have to determine when it's acceptable to punish someone for speech (not shooting people obviously) and when people should be permitted. This is why I'm a free speech absolutist personally, I don't believe such an accurate measure can ever exist.
