That's not a viable representative body, it's the Sarlaac Pit of Babel. "Democracy" is completely meaningless without a demos. Trillions of random weird looking aliens, Natalie Portman and Jar-Jar just add up to a hive of chaos.

This is precisely why I have openly vocalized about distancing myself from people I know IRL who either celebrated Kirk's assassination or rationalized it.

When some of my other friends confronted me about formally parting ways with these people, I simply told them, "It's evil to celebrate or to rationalize cold blooded murder. These are not people I want around me, and especially not around my children. I'm raising my children to NOT become psychopaths, kthx."

Also, I want to be able to tell my children when they are old enough to understand that I stood my ground for what was right and moral, and to not settle for people who want to bring you down to their low levels. Before becoming a parent, I probably would have quietly "ghosted" these people ... Now that I have children, it's a higher stakes ballgame, and I ain't playing it. I shamed these people and let them know that they are scum. I happily burned some bridges over the past 10 days, and I don't care if it makes others uncomfortable.

The fact that "murder is bad" is a hot political take right now is just fucking nuts to me. And incredibly sad. And, again ... Evil.
 
Charlie Kirk worked his way up from humble beginnings with the goal of providing a counterpoint to the corrosive neoliberalism that prevails on college campuses. I think we should put them all in train cars, right? And then we'll send those trains to some sort of camps. Then we'll lie to them and tell them that we need them to take a shower and get them all into one big room...

And thanks to Disney Wars, Palpy was proven correct because the Empire did provide safety, security, trade opportunities, and spice becoming very illegal. Once the New Republic gets in charge, they get a Pirate Nation, Imperial sympathizers constantly attacking them for about 20 years, and the New Republic shrugs and demilitarizes itself as an answer.

I don't know where the idea that evil doesn't exist came from, but it is very clearly a common belief in most people. I could think about it and likely find some sources, such as the laughable "Satanic Panic" and the regular mockery of Christianity. But, you are right. This is EVIL. Plain and simple. The people cheering murder on is evil. Everyone associated with the acts, evil. The fuckers defending these people via the legal system, evil.

I'm trying to explain this to a friend and they don't seem to even understand that someone, or rather a group of people, can be evil. It is a complete foreign concept. "But this is protected under Free Speech, they shouldn't loose their jobs". Motherfucker, they are evil and they shouldn't be in civilized society.
 

BREAKING: Man Arrested with Knife, Gun, and Inactive Police Credentials at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Ahead of Charlie Kirk Memorial Service​

Authorities detained a man at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday evening after he attempted to enter the venue while armed with a tactical knife, at least one firearm, and inactive law enforcement credentials.​

The suspect, whose identity has not been released at this time, reportedly claimed affiliation with law enforcement and exhibited suspicious behavior that prompted action from security personnel.

“The individual is not a member of authorized law enforcement working the event and is currently in custody,” the Secret Service said in a statement to the Washington Post. “The U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement are investigating the circumstances as to why he was at the location.”

The Washington Post reports:

The apparent unauthorized entry raised security concerns around the memorial, which is at capacity and is expected to include President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and many other administration officials and top aides.

The man had at least one gun and one knife when he was stopped, according to a law enforcement official familiar with the matter, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. He also presented “inactive law enforcement credentials” and told Secret Service agents he was at the site to provide private security, the official said.

The kind of rank and file leftists you see going apoplectic with blood lust right now only got that way because of material conditions combined with conditioning. If there wasn't major social support and institutional backing for their ideology, they would transform in a relatively short amount of time. For example, if you broke up their social media echo chambers, wrested control of the media away from the far left, and used academic auditing to force schools to teach a real curriculum instead of radical indoctrination, they would go from being flesh-hungry demons to being relatively normal people so quickly that it might shock you.

The hardcore among them are all probably high in "dark triad" traits, and have latched onto leftist ideology because it has clear social incentives for someone who opportunistically seeks social status and power. Take away that status and power and they'll pivot to something else.

Would I hire someone who openly supports violence and murder to babysit my kids? According to these people, I would have to, because free speech?

Supporting violence and literal murder makes you unfit for civilized society. You shouldn't be working with children, you shouldn't be working in medicine, you shouldn't be working with food, etc.

If a person can rationalize cold blooded murder and terrorism, then they are entirely capable of committing the act themselves.

I haven't seen people you would have to hire them. Some may say you should not be able to fire them.
Personally, I don't know what is the solution, but there is the right of association. So, you can avoid hiring them because you don't want to be associated with that ideology. If people arguing that are not bringing up this, they are dumb.

Probably true, but my point is that I think people really overestimate how "organic" this stuff actually is. It didn't pop up out of nowhere and these people didn't come to their conclusions independently. They are, to a large extent, living in a constructed reality in which every voice of institutional authority is telling them these convictions are right and true. The extreme majority of people don't become supportive of something like transgender ideology on its own merits; they're just responding to perceived social pressures and systems of incentive created by the institutions they interface with on a daily basis.
