The IT jeet trying to puff himself up who's from the parent company that acquired the company I sysadmin at is here on an h1b. No fucking way the place is going to pony up 100k. If this is real, and actually becomes a thing, I might get to watch this retard get sent back to jeetland. What an amazing way to tie up my career.
It's real. The fee is only applied on renewal or extension, but it's real. I remember lurking and seeing your post about what an incompetent cuck that jeet is, and I hope he sweats out all his curry spices and spontaneously combusts the moment he hears the news.

I’m going to an Indian restaurant, screaming “YESSSS FUCK THE H1B YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH” awkwardly to the waiter/waitress. Order 4 waters, then just leave while saying “NO TIP JUST HOW YOU LIKE IT” as I exit the door, rock hard with a massive erection.

Basic gist is if you're in international waters it's a violation of international law for your vessel to be unmarked. If your vessel is unmarked you're presumed to be a pirate. The punishment for piracy is burial at sea
Yeah, pirates are fair game. Hostis Humani Generis "an enemy of all mankind," or in English you're an actual outlaw, outside of the protections of the law. It is legal, under international maritime law, to kill pirates in international waters. Shit, it's practically encouraged, the ambiguously gay manlet brothers obviously have no idea what they're talking about.

This is the natural role of the USA. The marines were started to fight muslim pirates, right?

This is news to me; and I think it's kind of interesting some law which probably had some early version of it passed 400 years ago or something to stop people like Blackbeard and Charles Vane is still being used in a newer form today.

Honestly, I have a lot of respect for the fact Elon funded Trump to an undoubtedly helpful degree, and Trump still told him to fuck off and chose to listen to his voter base and crack down on H-1B.

It’s nice seeing billionaires being told they have no influence over the US government.

Technically they started in the revolution, 1775 if I recall, in a bar, which they are very proud of. But a handful of them did fuck up the Barbary Pirates, hence the Shores of Tripoli line in their Hymn. Their first real foreign action.

Pretty much. The Royal Navy used to play World Ocean Police, and anti-piracy work to keep trade lanes open has always been a Western Navy thing. These days that means the US Navy, since no one else has a serious Blue Water navy. Also don't expect the Chinks to ever take up that burden, the Chinese are and have always been shitheads geo-politically who only care about China. Shit, their fishing fleets should probably be declared pirates and sunk, but they keep actual PLA(N) warships around to protect them. Absolute fucking shitheads.

Honestly, if they aren't citizens of the US or a country with a sizable nuclear capability and stockpile, fuck em. If they get in a boat and get anywhere near the US or in the direction of the US, they should be bombed. Stay in your shitholes, and you can live in peace.

Reminder this will effect in addition to tech:
  • Farms
  • Gas Stations
  • Resturants
  • Essentially, everything a Teenager should be getting during the summer. But all went to the Indians.
Always interesting to see what's there. There are many many lower salary positions <$60k for what looks like basic work that could be done by any American.

What fishermen have no fishing gear and jet across the ocean at 60mph with suspicious white rectangle packages all around them.
