No, the point is that if someone has demonstrated complete callous disregard for the dignity and life of people like you, that person should not be administering your medication or watching over your children while you're at work. If what really matters is policy, but most people are to stupid to listen to policy debates. Then you just have to root for the side that has the same policy positions as you.

The only way out of the loop is to make everyone never talk about the killer, only the victim. If someone wants to talk about the killer you have to say you don't care about their motive. This goes back to "politics isn't about facts and reason", therefore the killers will always matter, because it can cause an emotional response.

Will there ever be a world where both sides don't obfuscate motive? If no such world exists, then you either don't play politics or you obfuscate.

That's what I've said about school shooters for a long time. I don't think that we will ever be able to completely stop it, but I'm sure we could make a dent if the media and police completely refuse to release the names of the shooters.
If we just stopped glorifying them in the media or even giving them any kind of attention, we take away one of the biggest incentives that they do it for. Have a judge completely seal the proceedings. Make sure the media never hears their name. No infamy for you, nigger. Just prison rape.

Much can be said about Vance Boelter and his spree shooting but the difference between how the right reacted to his violence compared to how the left has responded to the killing of Charlie Kirk is frankly night and day.

AFAIK the firing squad is on the table as a choice due to Mormon belief in blood atonement but it’s still a choice that convicted gets to make. Last year Utah was using lethal injection for their executions.

Gary Gilmore just brought the whole firing squad to the forefront because he demanded the court impose the death penalty as promised and he chose the firing squad too. (Last words, “Let’s do it.” The man was not fucking around)

It’s reported Tyler meekly turned himself in because he was scared of being shot. If that’s true I don’t think he will opt for the firing squad if he gets the DP. (I still think he will get a LWP plea deal or sentence.)

Their end goal isn't to kill the other side as a whole like some think. It to infest institutions like education to pollute your offspring's mind. Their goal is to essentially breed your beliefs out of society.

The concept of using education as a way to subvert conservatism was widely discussed through lefty circles over the years. I remember seeing discussions on it on Tumblr in the early 2010s.
