Because it inevitably gets used to justify why he has nobody but himself to blame for his death.
If Biden was assassinated tomorrow, and then someone went, "He called MAGA an 'Extremism,' once — Stochastic terrorism and all that. Brought it on himself." It'd be as equally bullshit an argument to make.
Biden once said if you don't vote for me, you're not BLACK. Obviously he's a condescending white racist who views Black people as his property. He's for slavery. You know what that means. . .

The boomers in my life are still pushing the whole "turn the other cheek," and "fight evil with kindness" sort of thing. As if they haven't learned from the past several decades that simply doesn't work with psychopaths, or with people who have been brainwashed into hating their parents, and the rest of society, with every fibre of their being.
Boomer libs only seem to get really riled up when they try to hide behind "poor abused minorities" or "Hitler devil bogeyman". That's not working on late Millennials/Zoomers anymore.

Why you think Donald Trump has a red phone in his office that goes right to the house of mouse is beyond me.
Don't be silly, of course he doesn't use the red phone to call Disney. He uses one of these:

Start sending him factual information, graphs, studies, data, anything that breaks his conditioning. That kind of stuff is way harder to rationalize and whataboutism away.
Way back in 2014, I was on Tumblr, and the grand jury testimony was released. Brown's friend Dario (who was there) laid out the truth about everything by ratting Brown out. He testified about the theft of the cigarillos, Brown's first attempt at grabbing the cop's gun by reaching into the car, and his final lunge towards the cop (his hands were NOT up, he was by no means surrendering). I clipped this data and sent it to multiple people who were promoting the "hands up, don't shoot" narrative. It didn't affect them at all. I recently saw a protest outside a federal building and they were still chanting "hands up, don't shoot". These people are immune to reality and reason.

Yeah-that’s not gonna fly when you have antifa communists with rifles rolling up your neighborhood.

They are preparing and planning to kill-and they won’t hesitate. Boomers are just out of touch though in general.

I have been dealing with similar situations with practically every Boomer lib in my life, if someone is throwing around "whataboutism" over this, then be wary. It's admittedly been difficult not to blow a gasket.
One of my closest friends is polar opposite of me, an outright leftist. Also a sperg like me.

We occasionally start going at each other in our groupchat, but are more civil in person. Despite our differences, we don't consider politics something losing our friendship over. Heck, we even agree occasionally.

You get along with people you know IRL far more than strangers on the internet. In times of loneliness like these, your relationships should take priority over political team sports. You should only cut someone out of your life if they are the instigator and are adamant about it.

"How 'bout them (local NFL team)?" is how I change the subject when we start sperging out at each other.

The irony here is that the opposite is true - the only people I really get on with IRL are some extended relatives, old friends from my school days, and some members of the church I attend. I find more people I agree with on, of all places, Kiwi Farms rather than closer relatives I see and hear from practically every day. They live in a parallel reality.

awww these poor retards got their Propaganda Tonight or whatever show cancelled because Jimmy Kimmel can't stop being a lying cocksucker, aww I'm all broke up inside 😂

Honestly, I think the whole thing is causing a rift in my personal life, and even my family. My older brother apparently could barely contain his contempt for Charlie Kirk, and his utter rage that he couldn't express that disdain without getting dogpiled.

Even with all the evil things that the left has done within the past few decades, I genuinely miss the times when friends on opposing sides could at least pretend to not hate each other's guts.

Yeah this was really the first conversation where I pushed back because I’m just so tired of biting my tongue and his reaction to the grave dancing was infuriating.

"Gravedancing" to you faggots is any and all critique of Charlie being made after his death. Funny how you're just not allowed to quote the things Charlie actually said while he was alive now that he's dead, I wonder why? maybe because the things he said while he was alive were actually controversial
What did he say that's controversial? Got any choice, in context quotes you think anyone on the right would balk at?

You people have no idea what free speech is.
It's a privilege for those with a respect for common decency.
If you don't abide by this decency, you shouldn't be granted the privilege.

"You sound like a Leftist."
No. You don't impose anything upon differing beliefs that force them to accept your own. You let MLK speak, sure, and he did, but you also don't force the baker to bake your gay cake or be forced to agree with views you don't agree with. The only exceptions are beliefs which deny the concepts of "promises, covenants, and oaths" (Treaties, agreements, etcetera), or those who seek to destroy and impose upon others their own beliefs. They cannot then be protected by the same system of tolerance they flagrantly ignore to impose their own view on others — "no pretence of religion".

The actual threats to free speech were pointed out centuries ago and it was explicitly on groups who saw no value to promises, and those who hid under the protections of tolerance whilst they actively undermined and dominated other groups.
Your theory involving the United States using Christianity as a central foundation for its various social and legal structures (which is true, more often than not) is interesting to me. I find it interesting because numerous practices we associate with the USA, such as the idea of a democratic republic, did not stem from Christianity but rather much older Greek societies, which were categorically pagan. Your theory also interests me because this association with the divine is implied, through quoting Locke, to award the USA (not in Locke's context, but the context in which you cite him) a sort of unique inoculation against things that might erode its values, such as atheism. Associating these things so closely with God seems like a misstep; the pagan Greeks also likely had theories similar to this, attributing their success to their own gods, and we saw what happened to them as they slowly crumbled due to many of the same problems harming the modern USA. (Women occupying positions of political power, foreigners in the military, an influx of barbarians, etcetera.) Locke had interesting ideas, but his theory you borrow from him where European society was uniquely protected because God wills it strikes me as a big folly.

I wanted to post this on your profile but the brick of autism was too many characters.

On top of the Hortman's deaths. That quietly went away when the murderer: Lance Boelter was further revealed that he was a Governer Tim Walz appointee and deeply steeped in the democratic party. Melissa's death followed after the vote to change Minnesota law that repealed care eligibility to Undocumented Migrants, where she voted Yes to repeal the law.
She was the only democrat to vote yes to repeal, which is very concerning why shortly following this vote. She was killed alongside her husband. The vote was done 6/9/2025. She was killed 6/15/2025.
That's part of the reason it went away so quickly compared to Kirk's. Early details and theories around the murder were easy to counter signal due to the circumstances. It was easier to imagine them being the target of a pissed off Dem than a Republican because of recent votes. Basically the attempted Left-wing tactic of making Kirk's assassin a groyper but actually more tangible. When the narrative got even more confusing regarding the killer's schizo-motive (Tim Walz told him to do it?) it basically just went away. Kirk's assassination probably wouldn't have attracted as much political outrage if the shooter didn't give any clues to his politics with the evidence he left behind. It would've been a lot easier for counter-narratives to flood the news cycle, with "it was Maga," "it was lefties," "it was Jews" all competing for space and there would've been enough pollution with the narrative that people would attribute the official narrative specifically to counter theirs or something.

In hindsight, the lack of obfuscation and clear intent being handed to us was the best of a bad situation.

From what I've seen, leftist/liberal media are more saddened and outraged by Kimmel being taken off air than they are about the recent political assassination. Then there are the pathetic jellies that consume that slop squealing about their slop talk show host getting BTFO'd. I'll never forget just how overzealous for censorship those talk show hosts were during Covid, I love to see them get their comeuppance.
If they gave even the slightest damn, maybe they should've kept watching his show. Because everything points to the ABC pulling the plug as a final straw with him.

And ABC didn't necessarily have a healthy relationship with the guy prior to this.

Is this the end for Jimmy Kimmel? The host revealed that he is yet to sign a contract extension with ABC, and the likelihood of getting a deal done at the moment isn't very high. “I think this is my final contract,” he tells the Los Angeles Times. “I hate to even say it, because everyone’s laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to be not the case. I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, and that seems pretty good. That seems like enough.”

I’m sure this is already been said before in this thread, but the left thinking this is some kind of win for them is hilariously stupid. They’ve just created a martyr and given enormous ammunition to the American right wing and too Trump. Nothing was changed either Trump is still president and JD Vance will most likely win the 2028 election. All they did was make themselves look like utter ghouls and drive more people away from the left. Nothing beneficial came out of it for them. I guess when your political party is dying and your flailing and screaming as the walls around you collapse, you have to take the few ones you can get I guess right?

Just as millions of Americans finally realize you cannot negotiate with people who want to torture you and your kids to death for sport, they will soon have to process the fact that genocide hoaxes are real and perpetuated by corporate media. Buckle up!

Didn't Ta-Nehisi Coates go into retirement 'cause he literally wrote a book that justified radical Islamic terrorism 'cause Hamas/Hezbollah/ISIS are "oppressed brown people"?

Random weird fact: Coates' dad runs a publishing house that publishes white supremacist materials/Neo Nazi books. Black "intellectuals" are a strange bunch. When they aren't advocating for reparations, they're trying to bring back segregation for the benefit of black society.
