It's important to remind people of what will happen if the left wins this war. And make no mistake, the left views it as a war and approaches each engagement accordingly.

They will come after your children, they will prey on them, groom and troon them. They'll flood your country with even more shitskins and niggers, who will then be given free rein to assault, rape, rob and murder the "Hostile Class" of citizens. Your culture and history will be erased, your property taken away and dispossessed and if you dare voice a single complaint, they will come after you with the full power of the state.

Urging self-defence and preparation =/= Attack people.

The concept of equating rhetoric and words to outright action/violence is primarily a Left-wing thing. Justice is legitimised through law or the state to the Right-wing, not the people alone, which is a fundamental difference between Right and Left.

Because the Left views hostile words as equivalent to physical violence, the Right's "self defence" under their lens, would be to react to rhetoric in the same way they would: violence. Which is why it gives them the shits, and why someone might view milquetoast posts about "being prepared" and to "defend yourself" as basically an open call to war or fedposting.

I agree. The more I think about it, the more I think this is such a huge loss for the Republicans. Charlie wasn't perfect, obviously, but he really had a calm way of presenting the conservative case that was very appealing. JD Vance sort of has this quality, but he had to learn it... Charlie was a natural at it. Furthermore, Charlie was manuevering perfectly to fit the varied and shifting interests of the Republican Party of today, taking on pro-family, pro-traditional values, pro-business, anti-immigration, pro-nativist, anti-intervention, and Zionist-skeptical talking points with ease, all while somehow avoiding the stench of the Silicon Valley weirdos. And then throw in his picture-perfect family. Charlie could have won easily.
