I'm also just going to throw my hat in for the "the text messages are fake (performative)" conspiracy. Not fake like the FBI is full of shit, but fake like the exchange itself had an element of rehearsal to it that will be shown once the correspondence between the shooter and the other troons is presented. The entire thing is just a bit too convenient, mainly the alleged lack of the roommate's knowledge of the plan, and the messages (or at least what we've seen of them since pieces were cut out) seem more like a prepared confession designed to exonerate everyone else besides the shooter than a natural exchange. It's possible the reason it looks that way is because parts of them were cut out, but we won't know until/unless we see the whole thing.

So yeah $20 on "the roommate (and several other troons) had foreknowledge". You know I'm good for it, no need for a juicer.

Sure, but that is for cases where the State is willing to forego the expense of a trial. That is not operative in this situation. The State WANTS this guy too swing. They are not going too offer him a deal where that is not the final outcome.

i'm not a fan of her either but she has known charlie kirk and has been friends with him for longer than almost anyone. She lost a good friend and she is a relevant person to pay attention to in this situation to a lot of people. I am pretty sure they were friends since at least one of them was a teenager.

They're also not gonna risk him being acquitted at trial, unlikely as that may be. Even in states with capital punishment, it's a swing for the fences. It will be subject to multiple appeals that will last years or even decades.
