Its true, the seven deadly sins do not make any sense. Sure, it's interesting to flip the concept on its head to have the princes of hell behave opposite to what they represent. They dont do that with Mammon for some reason because... capitalizim bad? They aren't writing anything nuanced. If Satan is written to be a joke, why should I take him seriously as a character or a genuine threat to the main cast? It would have been funny if the first time we see him, he destroys the court room in his rage and they have to hold it someplace else. Then, the second time we see him, he has that little idiot floating around trying to calm him but it doesn't work. Satan keeps eating these little guys.
