Would like to point out GOP Congressmen are urging unity and mutual dialogue with these sorts of people:

Charlottesville destruction derby
Oh you mean that time a guy was surrounded by a mob of assholes throwing shit at his car and floored it, to barely hit an obese landwhale who died not of the car bumping her but of a heart attack?

Yeah I remember that.

Of course they are, it's in the nature of all AIPAC-funded GOP members of congress to be dickless faggots who hate their constituents.

I really love how the quintessential, sterotypical, left-wing origin story is "i come from a christian conservative family and didn't like it", but for some reason the concept of a 22 year old, who probably didn't have everthing figured out, cant have a different opinion than his parents is foreign to them.
Never expect a leftist to argue in good faith, just call them a racial slur and move on.

One area that needs further investigation: This guy was supposedly a genius, but then he enrolled in a local college for one semester in 2021 and then dropped out. Four years later, now he is at a trade school training to be an electrician.

What happened???

Easily explained normal kid that dwelled on the Internet too long, became a loser, and as a loser their parents demanded he did something it’s been 4 years and he went for a low tier “doing something with my life” choice

Weirdly enough that’s similar to Charlie Kirk’s story.

Went to college for a year, dropped out and founded TurningPointUSA, taught himself everything auto-didactically.

The difference here is one of them didnt spend their time getting brainwashed by reddit and discord.

Has anyone found out his employment history yet? If he's never had a job and I had to guess, he probably hated college, dropped out, and became a NEET for a few years until his family finally forced him to do something with his worthless ass.

Knew a guy. Super smart straight A fucking amazing student all through grade school. Cool dude, head on straight. Everything super bright ahead of him. Think he went to college on an academic scholarship, at least partly.

Flunked out two years later, became some kind of machinist. Jumped off a lighthouse couple years after that. People do just flake.

I'm absolutely lucky enough to have people in my life that I heavily disagree with on political issues that I can talk to about it, and at the end of the day shrug it off and act like nothing happened 30 minutes later.
I promise this is my last effortpost about the collective phonebooking of gravedancers.

As cavalier as people pretend to be online, I think most of us are more careful IRL about how we do or don't confront loved ones, coworkers, neighbors, etc. But it's different online because you don't care about those people... but their words seem to have value to you?

If you follow the charlie'smurderers mission to its conclusion, you are achieving nothing which benefits you except a fleeting joy from the illusion that justice and karma are real and bad people can be forced to change.

But that's not happening. Those bad people are angrier, spiteful, forced into their echo chambers, and their beliefs that the "other side" is evil are reinforced. What they are NOT doing is reflecting on their beliefs with curiosity and open-mindedness. You are NOT encouraging people to think differently or see your side of it - that's what the problem was the begin with, right? - but you are proving their ungenerous beliefs right.

So they may not tweet some impotent and ignorant messages next crisis, but they will still hold those beliefs - and they are still your countryman, with whom you share space, resources, land, etc. They can be your kid's teacher, your prof, your mailman, someone who prepares your fast food.

You only stand to suffer if you support punishment of wrong think. I'll give a terribly thought out analogy. Should you salt the earth of your countryman? I say no - you not only have to share the earth with these unhappy and ignorant people, so their shitty crops intermix and compete with yours, but you sabotage your own crop in the process.

The policies and laws which would punish them are the same which can punish you, should you find yourself under the umbrella of whatever era of wrong think. And we have all been there (eta - from losing a friend because you disagreed about masking during covid, to beloved sneeder josh not being able to have a bank account).

Anyway, it's always worth sharing your "correct opinion" with a "wrong think haver". It's better for them and ultimately better for you. Karma and justice may not exist, but destroying the lives of ignorant people doesn't make them real either.

If you take time to share your disagreement, you won't change everyone's mind. Or anyone's. But Charlie did the exact same thing. Think your stance through, align it with your principles, own it completely, and share it. And instead of punishing wrong think, you are offering an uncomfortable alternative to someone. Maybe their mutual reads it. Maybe they think back to it a week, a month, 5 years later. Maybe they change their mind. Maybe they don't. They're human, like you. Even the most despicable opinions have a human being behind them. Except bot accounts which I believe are being used en masse currently. That reddit experiment wasn't for nothing.

Anyway, I love all you stupid retards.

Pulling from the other thread to remind people of friendlyjordies video, as it does have quite a bit going for it. Work on being happy. Miserable people hate it, sane people want to be happy and work on being happy. I've been reading about too many miserable people who want to sow misery, including here.

they are overdoing it with the smart part he got a 32 thousand scholarship to one Utah college that was close to his home. He was a good student but you get a couple of them in every class.

It's interesting to me that the people I've seen cheering and applauding the killing of someone they disagree with politically are almost universally against the death penalty for actual convicted criminals.

What is so different about Charlie Kirk and a convicted serial child rapist/murderer that the punishment of death is a-ok for one but an absolute travesty of justice in a civilized society for another?
Those people look at a criminal on death row and think to themselves that could be me, because they either want to break the law or are already breaking the law.

The issue is, leftist ideology literally cannot exist without conaervativ values. And I don't mean that in a "without light there can't be shadow" kind of way, I mean that in the "the left exists purely to antagonize the right" kind of way.

If tomorrow, for whatever reasons, troons were accepted and fully embraced right-wing values, the left would be calling for an end to sex change operations immediately.
I don't understand any real meat trying being conveyed here. Neither can exist in a vacuum, left or right.

I'd put forward that there is an interesting relationship between the statement "the left exists purely to antagonize the right" and the right pejoratively being labeled by them as "reactionary." A real thinker.

If tomorrow your hypothetical happened, of course they would. They rely on having demographics they rely on and when you step out of line, you get called slurs. It's always been this way. They do it to the poor, blacks, gays, troons...."voting against your own best interest!" shit, it comes with the moral superiority thing. Their reaction to what they view as apostates is the whole reason "Big Tent" exists, it's everyone else with different views on a lot of things pointing a thumb at the dems and being like "get a load of this faggot"

A lot of smart young people struggle in college, as there is no external motivation. Nobody can force you to go to class.

I know a Mormon chemist who had three top performing kids drop out of college. They just couldn’t cope without their dad directing them.
