At least at the time of the shooting he was enrolled at Dixie Technical College studying to be an electrician. Before that I don't know.

Ngl I've been a single woman for a while and it really just solidified my opinions on things and boundaries I won't let anyone try to change. I know what I want in a long term relationship more than ever. I've also stopped talking to my shitty friends and the same thing applies.

More women need to do that rather than justify being with shitty men (and friends with shitty people) that constantly disregard everything about them, who degrade them for having opinions that arent the same.

It's not difficult. A little lonely sometimes, sure, but at least you know you fucking stand for something lol.

(And yes, this applies to men too! I've seen men stay with horrible women because they don't want to be alone and it's free sex. Or they're friends with someone who sucks because at least they have friends.

But Fucking love and respect yourself, people. It's better to be single and friendless and know what you stand for than constantly treated like shit by people who dont even tolerate you.)

Also speaking as a zoomer, a majority of them have actually haven't been exposed to a lot of real life before deciding that they're communists or socialists.

I used to run around with punk kids when I was like 18, and everyone my age and younger were self-described communists–
Despite a majority them coming from upper-middle class good families that paid their college and let them stay at home. Gave them cars and paid for their instruments, travel, etc.

We all know college is its own bubble that shields them from a lot of actual shit. They just have to repeat the same things until it's fact in their peanut brains.

Also they get away with a lot of their disturbing opinions because it's popular now.

They're rewarded socially, they're rewarded online with likes/upvotes/reposts/comments, they've been rewarded by their teachers (and parents and friends in a majority of cases) to be parrots all their lives.

And they're especially rewarded to be absolute assholes to people who disagree a little bit.

It's a vicious feed back loop (of deliberate intent), the most healthy thing would be if people got off the internet and away from technology for significant parts of the day everyday, but all this crap does is make people more invested in being sucked into the never ending bullshit tornado that is brewing everyday, which just then amplifies all the outward consequences when there isn't a higher thinking function to nip it in the bud or someone who intervenes, if this keeps progressing it may begin to become a daily occurrence, which is not out of line with Biblical implications
