It’s the gas and energy that is released from the barrel that makes suicides very messy. If you’ve ever gone to a shooting range and been next to somebody shooting a long gun you can feel it.Given that .30-06 is a round larger than 7.62x51mm, and Ronnie McNutt completely removed his head with 7.62 (Granted, at point-blank range). Is it totally reasonable that at 200 yards the round fired from the rifle would have lost enough energy to just punch a hole through him like it did and not practically blow Charlie Kirk's head off? One of my close friends isn't convinced that the rifle presented to us could have been the one that made the shot because of how relatively clean the wound was. I also just want to hear Kiwi's thoughts.
