If there is only one thing you learn today let it be the fact that there's a difference between us that will never be reconciled and I don't mean individually, I mean as groups, as what the other represents. I feel fair in speaking for both the group I am of, the group you are of, and what we represent one to another as opposition.

Not to nitpick, but this still isn't it. It's not "some people on the left". It's an extremely large amount of the left, the ones you wouldn't expect to actually be *that crazy* still are. It's the politicians themselves, elected officials, new broadcasters, career pundits, they're all celebrating this publicly because they know they can.

People need to realize that it's not "some people". Charlie Kirk got murdered for having the same political opinions as your dad, and mainstream news programs, elected officials like Ilhan Omar, influential authors like Stephen King, government workers, unioned public school teachers who are with your kids, they're **ALL** celebrating.

My response to that would be explain how a species that propagated from maybe 100 or so original members has 10,000 different unique sects of a religion they didn't even have for over 10,000 years of early human history if everyone is actually some perfect moral and philosophical clone of their parents.

Beliefs and culture change all the time. If anything it's as common as growing up, technology advancing, people being more connected for better and for worse.

Most people considered right wing today are just 90s liberals. The real issue with the left is that it got so engrossed in furry vore fetishism that it ate itself and became an intolerant hate bubble cult so far removed from its actual values that it's an unrecognizable turd. The fact you can get exiled from an entire political side is proof enough that the issue with defining left vs right is that the left exiled so many of its own members that anything right of Karl Marx' left nut is considered right wing. 20 years ago most people on here would be called center left for the exact views we hold. It's also why Shoeonhead is no longer left. Not because her views changed, but because what was considered pretty far left views 20 years ago is now considered far right. The fact a typical bernie bro is considered far-right by the left these days should tell you all you need to know about just how insane and extremist they are now.

Oh that's easy to explain.

Arrest Time comes from the Officer jotting it down on his paperwork. He's not gonna get any more specific than 5 minute intervals.

Booking time is as he gets entered into the system. So the database is logging it as it happens.
