There are small, isolated pockets where content is still genuine, but the vast majority is botposting astroturfing. I would personally recommend disconnecting for a while or at least moderate your social media use. Do not ignore what is going on around you but do not fixate on all of these images and messages, they are designed to confuse you and paralyze you with fear. It's a form of psychological warfare
