Luigi was genuinely fucked and had nothing left to loose and that made him sympathetic, he was a man at the end of his rope lashing out... kind of like Sky King but darker. This kid hadn't even begun to get fucked and was playing with forces in national politics.
Luigi also choose his target with more intent, he found revenge against some pencil pusher, striking fear into the hearts of the faceless corpos and bureaucrats who deny you a mortgage or garnish your wages or whatever it is. Where as this kid just went after the first 'acceptable' target that could give him notoriety, the big famous pundit coming to town.

Now that it's millennials who raise their kids with the internet that raised them. And also algorithms didn't give it to you. Nowadays you can leave Youtube on autoplay and get some porn stream. Back in the day you had to look up a website for it or search a pornographic term.

IE, back in the day kids still looked up porn, but we searched for titties, we looked up pussy or fat asses. Also save for Newgrounds most porn websites required a credit card meaning kids couldn't just randomly view it. Now it's just in kids faces for an ad that plays on a gaming video about strategies for Fortnite.

When I grew up the equivalent was Nick At Nite transitioning to Blues Clues accidentally putting Girl's Gone Wild as a midroll. Now that shit is tame compared to what's put in front of kids watching, well anything.
