I'm ready to be accused of moralfagging, but this doesn't sit well with me. It's the exact same as those websites that actively sought to dox and ruin the lives of "racists" during the George Floyd riots. I know, I know: it's the world they wanted, freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences, Rules for Radicals, etc. etc. But I still don't like it.
Obv I'm way back in the thread but 100% agree with you. Shocked to see proponents of free speech (including hateful and distasteful speech) so eager to create this canary list equivalent. Like the covid hotline in Canada where neighbors told on each other for not wearing masks.

If someone is saying they'll show up and shootup/ bomb a place, then I understand reporting it. But these people are allowed to have digusting and wrong opinions. How is this different from people losing jobs for refusing to use pronouns? For disagreeing with DEI policies?

Many of us "fled" to this site because we weren't allowed to speak freely on many other subjects. Now that we strongly disagree with the right people, now we are happy to contribute to silencing citizens. Shameful.

Don't be lazy. Fire up your account on whatever platform and tell each person you disagree with why they are wrong. If it is so important for you to see them be punished, give some effort to shame them yourself.

Not really relevant to the assassination but it's a Ruger Precision rifle of the rimfire variety, .22LR, .22 Magnum, or .17HMR

If he got a 34 on the ACT and a 4.0 GPA, what the hell is he doing at a university with a 100% acceptance rate? (No offense if you go to UVU.) His mom seems like a nut. Maybe she really wanted him to stay close by.
Might have been given a full ride. Makes more sense than taking on school debt in this economy.

A lot of the recent younger shooters have had political beliefs that are indecipherable and that they clearly have no understanding of.
It's kindof funny, because people are looking at his familial situation and assuming political beliefs as a result of that. In a country of 330M+ people, the idea that you can just magically distill one of two flavors from circumstances like that are hilarious. Maybe he really hated Kirk's stances on everything. Maybe he didn't.

This obsession with making the world simple, and making the world make sense, is supposed to be the whole reason we have religion: so people accept that it isn't simple, and that it doesn't make sense. But when you replace the holy spirit with the consoomer spirit, I mean - this is what you get.

Whatever views this guy had, he's 22. When I was 22, I was a retard. It's kindof hard to not be a retard at that age.

I have a chrome extension running downloading every photo off the Mom's (Amber) facebook, is there a preferred image site to upload these? It's a few hundred.

In the meantime, I took screenshots of the top of the album and attached those here- a lot of these pictures were deleted when I tried to open them up.
i don't understand people who fuck up their life like this when they have a loving family.

The mother has locked down the facebook.

Based on what I saw, it seems like the ideal family. Married for over 20 years, all three kids appeared smart and enjoyed lots of family outings and hobbies. Tyler himself appeared really smart and got a scholarship to university.

In all honesty, this would be the last person you'd expect to go murder someone. Maybe he got radicalized in University after being away from his loving family?
To me he seems the complete 180 of your typical leftists from the Blue States. However, he can appear conservative on the outside and blend in, while holding leftists views.

Full scholarship probably. Also she didn’t post SAT so that means he probably didn’t even bother because he was only looking for in-state options. Good ACT scores used to be a free ride to in-state schools. Years ago you got guaranteed partial scholarships if you had above 30 or 32 as a in-state student. 35 (and grades) was full ride at most.
