I've noticed a trend of people who are raised heavily religious going to some opposite extreme, whether it's religious/spiritual like Satanism or witchy shit or extreme politics

*someone else said restrictively religious and I think that's a better descriptor. I know plenty of people who were raised in very religious households who continued to be religious into adulthood
