Googling the phrase ""She is a 28-year-old woman, stands 5 foot, 10-inches tall" in quotes, this article comes up. Can't view it because of a paywall, but it looks like the FB hits are including references to other Utah news.

EDIT: Yeah, seems like this article is where that Facebook result is coming from. In the article's attached video a guy says those words verbatim about a female attacker in 2024.

The marginalized person who's death that we hear about in the news are those who were killed in the act of perpetrating a crime—mass murderers, rapists, assassins, thieves, pedophiles, and schizo crazies. Frequently, they kill themselves.

I am guilty of mocking the type if person like the one you describe if they have committed a violent crime. I consider shunning criminal behavior to be an effective law enforcement mechanism, especially in the case that the person kills themselves—as atheist and Christians alike must be reminded that we are judged in death, and not in life. But why would I glorify death? And why would I or anyone mock a victim? We should extend sympathy.

So I don't demand empathy, but I will request that you give your sympathy freely.

Shooting a 30-.06 (if this was the confirmed caliber used) @ 200 yards is very achievable and not hard with a little bit of practice and knowledge of zeroing. The bullet drop at that range even for a grain bullet would be 2-3 inches if you were only zeroed at 100 yards. I believe they discovered remanence of a hypersonic bullet which travels up to 3000+ fps. Considering all of that information it would take someone only a day or so of shooting it a few times to get it down. I also believe he did take some damage falling off that roof but I think he ate most of the fall due to adrenaline

Aside from that I am very curious to see if the suspect in custody is anyone mentioned in this thread or if it's someone brand new that we did not find.
