That person was probably upset that relishing in Kirk's murder ended his future in the millitary.
 
There's definitely a weird feeling hanging on right now. I think something is going on with the many, many Havel's greengrocers who have been watching quietly as the support evaporates until they can take the "support" away from the thugs.

The USNA story is terrifying. Everyone is on high alert, I think, with so many bomb threats and similar today. Might be a good weekend to just have a bbq in the back yard and not go too far afield, I think.

The guy who attacked Pelosi's husband was probably his gay drug dealer. All of the information that people here dug up about him made it unlikely for him to be right wing despite what the media might have tried to suggest.

The Whitmer kidnapping plot glowed so badly that the people who went to court (instead of taking a plea deal and testifying against the others in court) were found innocent. The federal government has a ridiculous conviction rate close to 99%, but that whole mess stunk so badly that the jury acquitted.

As funny as this is, it's probably not something Charlie would have supported. Getting tossed in a water fountain isn't anywhere near as bad as getting shot in the neck, but Charlie was the sort of person who believed people should be able to freely share their controversial opinions, as upsetting as they might be. The real karmic justice would have been finding out who this leftist shithead is and contacting everyone who is associated with him until he's canceled into the ground.

As powerful as "Never Forget" seems, do you ever find yourself wishing that blacks would forget about something that happened over a hundred years ago to people who weren't them and that was perpetuated by people who are no longer alive? In 1941 the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor. That was well before my time, but I'm thankful that as a country we put it behind us and have become good friends with Japan. Maybe nuking the fuck out of them helped us get over it, but look at Israel and Palestine to see a group of people who refuse to forget. They'll still be killing each other two thousand years from now, and that's not something anyone should want in this country or for their own descendants. After a certain point it's time to let go because holding on any longer will poison a man to his very core.
 
Some other big news today, forgive me if I’m late:

Republicans took the nuclear option for nominees, excluding judges. This could backfire later, but outside of Tuberville, most senate republicans didn’t do much to stop nominations anyway.

Guy that old is probably retired. Doubt he has an employer to complain to. It feels more approriate that fit, vital men two generations after his are going to instill the existential dread that comes with having decades of smug self-righteousness overturned by people who possess strength you will never get back and knowing they will work to undo every stupid policy you advocated for.
 
I saw protestors out today in front of a vets office who posted on facebook that Kirk deserved it.

They are also getting review bombed on Google.

For a twist the protestors were retired boomers.
