No. I think it is only ok to kill criminals, specifically murderers and rapists. No matter how bad someone is they do not deserve to die except for those 2 things. Even though I think some people are very detrimental to society, they should be delt with in other ways than killing them.

I'm saying his views weren't mild. I disagree with his take on children watching executions and don't think his family deserved to see him murdered like that.

But the situation is ironic, especially because he was arguing against gun control when he was shot.

How is "we should not murder people" not a mild take? You may not agree with him on the pro-life view but he is simply biting the uncomfortable bullet, someone tried to play a gotcha on him and it failed.
