One of the best examples of this is his friends cum enemies, Ethan and Hila. Hila is shy and Ethan is ebullient, but no one other than the dumbest snarkers thinks that Ethan abuses her. Ethan doesn’t humiliate her on stream. For all we know, Hila shits herself hourly, we’ll never know because her husband doesn’t enjoy humiliating her on stream. In fact, he elevated her. Over the last decade we’ve seen Hila come out of her shell and become more energetic and confident on camera while Ian has become more sullen and withdrawn since marrying Anisa. The only thing that makes Ian laugh as hard as Ethan makes Hila laugh is when he hears about one of his enemies suffering.
He's also bringing back some of the old Ethan. Watching his response was great. Brought me back to the good old days of youtube, just a little.

Women do this shit all the time. Say things like "I think it's perfectly valid to support your gay child. There's really nothing wrong with it, Carol" but the moment it affects them, or can be used as ammo against someone else, the stance flips.
Could it be that the coach and his wife started watching Kino Casino because they were treated like shit and didn't get paid the $5,000 that Anisa's husband and Anisa's husband's wife owed them?
She wasn't wrong, just early. The next meltdown Ian publishes on his channel WILL own the haters. Trust the process. All it will take is one more video. Maybe two or three.

The fact that she clearly expected a positive reception helps to punctuate a point that I think really needs to be hammered home about Anisa: She is manipulative, but she is NOT a schemer. Every time I see people speculate about her intentions or potential plans, I think they don't keep in mind how little impulse control she has. She's far too impatient to put any thought into the next step of whatever plans she might conjur up, and the longterm damage brought to Ian through her aren't being done with malice. She truly, wholeheartedly, believes that everything she's done for Ian and herself are for the better, and all the negative consequences that derived from her actions are the results of bad faith actors. If she really was the monkey branching schemer that people insisted she was, she would've done more to better her station at Ian's expense.
I need a break from the drama to do life things but I do wanna offer a Sam Hydeian prediction of the next major arc:
