Postponing the 2:45pm EST press conference stating "rapid developments" will really piss me off if there are no developments announced.

Would have to assume generalized incompetence if so -- boding poorly for the investigation

I was thinking about that in the morning and the fact that the killer hasn't be found yet has some dire implications
- The shooter/tranny was crazy-lucky evading detection (most likely)
- The shooter was a hitman (the worst option)

If the shooter was a hitman, the question becomes "Why kill him?" The guy was a moderate conservative, what did killing him accomplish? Unless the hitman was an insane tankie/antiFAG and killed him out of his own volition believing that his death would lead to the "revolution". A more conspiratorial take would be that the current administration to martyred him so that they may expand their powers to crush their political opponents. Then again, I doubt Trump would sign off on something so reckless as he was a victim of an assassination-attempt.

The other suspect would be pissrael/mossad but then I asked myself, "Would mossad really kill who a man just became lukewarm on the pissreal question due to genocide in Gaza? I mean, pissraelis were already caught trying to diddle children in the US and they got off scottfree." Because if that is the case, that pissreal were the killers, we should just nuke pissrael (we can nuke them just to be safe)

Whatever the case maybe, lets just hope it was a tranny/tankie/looney shooter and not a professional hitman

Evil has come to America. It has scorned the orders of our courts, and threatens to alter fundamentally our form of government. It has pardoned its thugs, and extorted the lawyers who defended its opponents.
If these actions become normal, the government could arrest anyone and deport them to prison in a foreign land, without hope of redress, for no reason. It is nothing less than the total abdication of rule of law in this country. There is no guard or protection against it. If this theory prevails, then it is the end of America as a free nation.
I do not wish for this essay to be a mere catalogue of outrages. The conduct of the present administration is as well known to you as it is to myself, and can be understood by any sensible person. On it, no further comment is ventured.
What remains for us to decide is when we fight. If the present administration wills it, it could sweep away the courts, it could sweep away democracy, and it could sweep away freedom. Protest is useful only insofar as it can effect action. Our words might sway the hearts of men, but not of beasts.
If the present administration chooses this course, then the questions of the day can be settled not with legislation, but with blood and iron. In short, we must decide when we must kill them. None of us wish for war, but if the present administration wishes to destroy the nation I would accept war rather than see it perish. I hope that you would choose the same.
But what to do? The rot of the present administration runs deeper than one man. The sacrifice of a hero is insufficient to save our nation, and a gust of wind on a summer day would not have saved us. For let us make no mistake; the problem is not one man, but a whole class of people. If one head is cut off, another would take its place.
Violence only makes sense as part of coordinated strategy. This is why protests are important – not as a way of changing the present administration’s actions, but as a way to coordinate a group. There may come a time when we shall have no guarantee of freedom but the one which we make for ourselves. If it comes, I tell you that there is no greater honor than he who lays down his life for his friends. Until then, we must wait.
And when is that time? Your threshold may differ from mine, but you must have one. If the present administration should cancel elections; if it should engage in fraud in the electoral process; if it should suppress the speech of its opponents, and jail its political adversaries; if it ignores the will of Congress; if it should directly spurn the orders of the court; all these are reasons for revolution. It may be best to stave off, and wait for elections to throw out this scourge; but if it should threaten the ability to remove it, we shall have no choice. We will have to do the right thing. We will have to prepare ourselves to die. I hope that we should conduct ourselves with such courage that it will be our finest hour; I expect that we shall do our duty.
While we wait, we must not be like sheep to the slaughter. We cannot cooperate. We must hide those who are persecuted; we must foil the aims of their agents. The state and local governments which we control can litigate the actions of the present administration. Their police can refuse to share information or be deputized to do the work of the evil ones. If war is politics by other means, then politics is war by other means. There can be no surrender, for surrender means the oppression of all of us.
These are exceptional times! We have not faced such a threat in many years. I wish that it had not come. It is the sorrow of the world that these times have come, and it is we who shall have to bring woe unto those through whom it came.
The future is not certain. It may be that the present administration should flinch, and turn back in face of lighter action. I fondly hope that that may be the case. But if it comes, we must awaken from this ignorant dream. This evil will not pass without blood, sweat, toil, and tears. So harden your hearts, and be prepared to die.

I woke up today thinking about his family.

The day after a very close loved one passes away can sometimes be even harder than the previous day. You no longer have the adrenaline and the slight detachment to reality, caused by the immediate trauma, to help you to not lose your mind completely.
Now this is real. It's not just a nightmare anymore. You woke up and you're alive and this is reality. And all you have left is this very real, unfathomably painful void and you have no idea how you could ever survive a day like this. And then you realize it's just the first day, and you still got all the days for the rest of your life. In every single one of them from now on you'll wake up in this complete darkness and pain so heavy that there are no words to describe it (you won't, but that's what you believe at the moment and nothing can convince you otherwise).

It's going to be one of the longest days of your entire life. So much confusion and pain. And, oh dear Lord, you have two little children that you gotta be a mother for. Your absolute duty right now is to try to show or convince them that the world hasn't ended, that their daddy is in a better place and that's ok. And the only thing you would convince them of, if you dared to be honest with your feelings around them, is the complete opposite of that. You are the most important and significant person in the world for them, right now. Whatever you imprint on them today will dictate how much of this hell that you're going through, you're going to allow them to have a taste of.
But you have no idea where the fuck are you going to conjure up the strength from, to put on a mask for them. There's nothing on this Earth that can help you. Absolutely nothing. Nothing can ease even a fraction of the pain, or help with the confusion, or ever make you whole again.
All the kindness and generosity from the all people around you, helping and doing literally everything one can, for you and your children, in this moment, is barely enough to just keep you fucking breathing.

So how the actual fuck are you going to, not only get through this day yourself, but also be the mother you children seriously need at this moment?

Only God. Nothing from the world of men can help you right now. Not really. Only God.
The same God that put you in this situation. And you have to trust that his plans are bigger than this absolute hell he cast you and your children into. Who else is to blame if not for him? How could a God that's supposed to be good do this to fucking toddlers, your children, never mind you? Who else could have saved the father of your children, but chose not to? Do you have enough faith to seek that same cruel, vicious God right now? A God who cares more about his own plans than the lives and the happiness of your innocent children? Why did they have to get caught up in his designs?
Who the fuck would have enough faith right now? Maybe a saint, but you sure aren't any saint. You're just a normal person.
So now it's not only a test of pain, but also of faith. This is the most unfair shit ever.
Not many would be able to ask God for help in a moment like this. Not many at all. And how the hell could anyone blame those that can't?

That's why we need to pray for her and her children.

So if you have 10 seconds of your day today to spare, I ask that you just pray for his wife Erika and his two small children.

For those who don't know how to pray, all you need to do is:
1. Close your eyes.
2. Honestly, from the bottom of your heart, beg God to take care of Charlie's wife Erika and his two children, and to help ease their pain. Beg him, from the bottom of your heart, to only allow them to suffer as little as possible. And to give that mother all the strength he can give someone.
And if you have a few extra seconds to spare, ask him to also welcome Charlie's soul into Heaven. No man is perfect, Charlie surely made mistakes and sinned in his life, but if any man deserves to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it would be a man that did as much good in his life as Charlie did.
3. say "Amen" to end the prayer.

I also wish people would stop twisting his words on the Second Amendment to mean that he enjoys children being murdered, when he never expressed such a view. In the full quote, he compared it to car deaths, saying that the benefits of cars (fast transportation, accessibility, etc.) far outweigh the negative impact of car deaths. That's not an endorsement of death by cars, simply saying that it's a byproduct of living in a country where cars exist, and it's the same deal with guns.

The reality is that guns save far, far more lives than they take in this country. In a country with about 340M people, we have about 40K gun-related deaths per-year, 2/3's of which are suicides. Meanwhile, there are approximately 500K to 3M valid cases of self defense using a firearm as reported by the CDC. The US does not have a gun violence problem, and anyone who tells you we do is either lying or misinformed.
