Watching yesterday's Kino Casino right now and I have never been happier with my mostly normal, mostly stable life. I cannot imagine the stress the Jomhas are feeling at the moment since this is very much not a normal life situation they have gotten themselves into. This is horrible, brutal, very much not good in every sense of the word - and also really, really funny because it's all selfmade by a washed up content creator and his unintelligent wife.

I think it's idiotic to become besties with ur boss and ur coworkers and then ur boss's friends for the obvious fact that it endangers ur livelihood if they ever have a falling out. And based on that H3 episode I think AB and others on the crew trusted these ppl with way too much personal information, including talking shit about their boss who was THEIR FRIEND? What the fuck were they thinking?

But I also think Ian is just jumping on the bandwagon of hating on AB under the guise of "politics" when in reality it's because AB is likable, popular and happily married to a beautiful woman who's legitimately Arab and isn't obsessed with the spotlight. It's clear in all these boxing stories that the boxing community really took to AB while Ian struggled to even get along with his own coach. He was absolutely looking for a reason to turn on the guy.

These other podcasters didn't know AB personally while Ian did. The only other person who did know AB was Hasan and he's been generous and respectful to the crew to this day.

Adding to my last post that Anisa is also very mad that AB doesn't have to prove his race the way that she feels pressed to. That comment he made about her mixed kid drama definitely got under her skin.

I know these types so well. They're in every scene in different fonts. They have poor social skills and lack self-awareness and live or die by external validation. So when they encounter regular, well-adjusted, likable ppl with more going for themselves they'll look for socially acceptable reasons to hate on them, even if those ppl were their actual friends.

Falling out with ur friends isnt fun. Its generally easier to just accept the situation, let it go and stop talking about them in general. U dont gleefully go after ur ex friends like this unless u've hated them for a long time.


Oh and I can't believe "Cold Ones acknowledged Kino Casino" hasn't been plastered all over this thread yet. For a while I thought they were keeping their nose out of the drama to support Ian without embarrassing themselves but supporting KC AT ALL tells me they feel the same way everybody else does.
