Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

To give the googly eyed dot head some credit, Kirk probably had the most basic of security there anyways. He's not a politician. He's political commentator. Without the right people in place to search and sweep or two wait 4 seconds to return fire like they did with Trump, I can see how the shooter could slip away. Kash's biggest fuck up was the miscommunication between him and his field agents about catching the shooter and I don't know who's incompetence made that blunder.

He could have been shot like that in an emergency room and still wouldn't have survived. I'm pretty sure they just want to be able to notify the family before announcing the death, so they just use "critical condition" as a placeholder for "definitely dead, but we need to break the news to his wife".

I genuinely have no clue what the fuck Trump was thinking with Patel and Bondi. We would be living in a Utopia right now if Trump had picked literally anyone else.
 
I see people sperging more than usual in this thread, but I'll throw this in here anyway.

Aside from Kirk who literally lost his life, it's his children I pray for the most. I can't imagine being in the shoes of his oldest daughter once she gets to elementary school. Having to eventually tell every new friend you make that the person you were just barely old enough to remember as "Dad" was killed brutally in front of everyone... that's just too heartbreaking to dwell on. Unless she is totally isolated from the internet, there's an almost 0% chance that she won't be aware of the video either.

Regardless of what you think of his personal politics, no child deserves to have the source of strength and stability in the family unit brutally murdered, let alone murdered graphically on live TV/social media for the whole world to see. I hope his wife and children can eventually overcome the wildfire of negative feelings they will likely be in for awhile after this. For those offering prayers for Kirk, I encourage you not to forget the family he left behind.
