Where will the first real organized siege star? and by who?

Honestly I think a coupled of more isolated cases of assassinations will happen first then the nature of these murders determine what group will start revolting. I do think a full on shootout will possibly begin in Colorado, California or Washington State.

A gaggle of loony troons and spics tried to shoot up a DHS office not too long ago.

Holy shit did lefties go mask off today. Even the Congress Dems tried shouting down a call to pray for Charlie Kirk on the House floor. Some of the saner ones are trying to play the ‘deeply concerning’ role but the younger ones are just looking like they want to lose the mid terms. It’s a very sad state of affairs right now.
They count the votes, and the RINOs have agreed not to run in most of their regions. They won't lose the mid terms.

i wonder, will the kirk assassination shake republicans' belief and trust in democracy?

like, kirk was probably the most successful grassroots democracy guy they had. engaging in discussion and debate on campus for the sake of getting your message out is like the most textbook description of democratic ideals one could imagine - and now the message from the left is "if you engage in the democratic process and win, we'll just kill your best people until you lose again".
under these circumstances, further participation in the democratic process seems like a bit of a farce, no?

I’m not entirely sure that the answer to assaults on the democratic process is more assaults on the democratic process. Idk, maybe we are all just ready to say Hobbes was right about human nature and we should let the Leviathan rule, but I don’t think that’s the right answer.
Maybe I’m a bit of an optimist, but I don’t think the lesson here is “democratic republics are a failure,” it’s more “we deluded ourselves into thinking the Cold War was over, and should have purged every anti-American communist from the Cathedral in the 90s.”

but that didn't happen. and purging every leftoid from the state isn't compatible with the democratic process either.
so, how to proceed from here? will the republicucks simply continue playing the game, pretend that nothing happened, and just stand by and watch as the left murders their people?

I respectfully disagree, there is an argument that the Communist control act is facially constitutional on its purported grounds: to protect the American system from over throw. Maybe not a strong argument, but an argument nonetheless.
And as much as I LOATHE how often Karl Poppers “paradox of tolerance” gets thrown around he’s not entirely wrong. Neither freedom of speech nor democracy mean you get to do whatever you want. At the very least, the government has a right and duty to protect the citizenry from unlawful assaults on their lives, and from Stochastic terrorism in support of that.

Honestly, from what I’ve seen, this isn’t getting the normal “well if the shoe was on the other foot” response. Idk how strong the reaction will be, but I sincerely doubt people will pretend like nothing has happened.

If we're lucky, we'll get McCarthy 2.0 with a combined effort on the private side and make it no longer viable to broadcast as a communist and its many masks, and anyone showing allegiance to foreign lands (except our greatest ally of course!) getting treated the same.
Unfortunately it's hard to buck break an entire party in just a decade when the uniparty is still fairly aligned against you.
