Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

Yeah by this point in the Luigi thing we had magazines printing full-color maps of his escape route. This university has no cameras... right.
 
Something the younger millennials and zoomers won't remember is how the left constantly harped under Bush about how the US being in Iraq and Afghanistan was only making more terrorists. They would constantly make up statistics like "for every 1 of them we kill, we make 20 more terrorists."

Can you link the tweets, there is absolutely nothing about this that I can find. And it would be a huge story that they had someone and decided he wasn't someone, then they found out he was someone after releasing him

Charlie was friends with a ton of people in the Trumpian Right. There's probably not a prominent right wing media figure or content creator that didn't have some type of association with the guy. He was also stereotypically Mormon. A kind, pure-ish soul that you don't see much in politics anymore.

Despite being milquetoast, and slow on the uptake, with many of his political positions, he was a good family man who loved God and was, as far as anyone can tell, scandal free. People like that tend to be seen by many people as their friends, especially on the Right. The more I think about it, the sadder I get. A genuinely good person was assassinated because he just so happened to be on the wrong political side.

I don't understand how extenuating circumstances don't just justify keeping anyone who could potentially be the shooter overnight until it's been figured out.

Seems truly bizarre there was a public assassination and some dude going "wow that was scary huh guys" gives him a free pass to leave
