Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Because Republicans generally have jobs, families, responsibilities, and a worldview rooted in order and accountability. Conservatives tend to wake up early, go to work, pay taxes, and view society as something to be maintained: "don't fix it if it's not broken"

The activist left thrives on outrage as a way of life. Many of the people at progressive protests are either students with no obligations, people employed in bureaucracies, HR or “non-jobs” like DEI hires, or they’re professional activists supported by NGOs and unions. Protests are also performative so they tend to attract narcissistic BPD type people who make up a big part of the left. Left wing activism kinda feed into the hero narrative (main character syndrome). If you lived / grew-up with people who align with the far-left /activist left (and I'm assuming you haven't) you'd know these people are mostly completely insane and narcissistic. Why do republicans/conservatives never riot/protest compared to democrats? it feels like democrats are rioting all the time, like the “no kings” shit they had a few months ago. Even when republicans weren’t in power, they weren’t clogging the streets like democrats do every month when they cant get their way.

I get there was Jan 6th, but that was a rare occurrence; compared to the millions of jobless democrats being a nuisance to law and order every month. I feel like theres been more assassination attempts by the democratic party to the reps compared to republicans to the democrats.

Speaking of, Ive never seen a republican call for biden to die when he was in office, compered to the amount of times ive seen a “progressive” call for trump to literally get publically hung on twitter all day. Imagine if conservatives protested for Charlie like democrats protested for George floyd in 2020? It’s literally the same situation but with the roles reversed. I doubt republicans will fill the streets over Charlie kirk. We have so many things to riot about now. This and the bus stabbing. But we don’t. Why? Whos tolerant again?
