Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

Exactly, this is why I think we need a new party that is in the center and I think it should be consider incitement of violence to claim that people in the other party want you dead or want you to be slaves or stuff like that because we have more than enough proof that it does incite violence.

MSNBC said the shooter might have been "a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration."



MSNBC Public Relations later released this statement:
Statement from MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler: “During our breaking news coverage of the shooting of Charlie Kirk, Matthew Dowd made comments that were inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable. We apologize for his statements, as has he. There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise."
 
i've been back and forth with several colleagues and friends that were eyewitnesses to the assassination. they all heard a gunshot. a fucking pellet/air gun did not kill charlie kirk. you are retarded.

I think it is because you're smart enough to see that Charlie Kirk isn't an ideal pick for a target if you're going to risk it all. Why Charlie? Right wingers think hes not hard right enough, or too pro israel or whatever. He's the guy that just goes on and debates people.

The reason its so aggravating is that the selection of target reflects the "terror" aspect. Why not Michael Knowles, or Greg Gutfield right? Why not any random conservative inc. person? It could be anyone! Well if they'll whack Charlie Kirk, who seemed like a pleasant young man, then they'll go for anyone. And in front of their family, and of course during an event! You wouldn't want to get shot at a Trump rally or Kirk event would you?

Did Charlie Kirk advocate for violence? No. Did he yell and berate everyone? no?
What exactly did Kirk believe that deserved murder in America where we have free speech?

That is the point, and that is the reason why the ever present, subversive threat to the very nature of goodness and civilization at its best needs to be met with [insert appropriate response here]. The people trying to defend our culture have been hurt way, way too many times by the people invading, subverting, and destroying ours. Its disgusting.

You're basically describing the difference between left and right in the US and everything downstream of it. The left follows a very closely related set of ideas that are widely defined and supported by academia, and the right is everyone else who doesn't agree with those ideas. There's some exceptions but that easily accounts for 90% of people. The reason israel-palestine is such a huge deal is because there is no formally agreed upon "good and correct belief" to have yet, but as soon as there is the losing camp that gets pushed from the cathedral will be considered right wing.

I may think they are completely insane and immoral but I don't think it is the government's job to take care of the problem and maybe if we left them alone they wouldn't think people are coming after them and shoot people.
