Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

All this back-and-forthing over a topic that needs no discussion. Charlie Kirk was murdered. The Right's line on guns is "Guns are so crucial that we have to endure tragedies to retain them." The Left's line on guns is "Guns are so crucial that we will inflict tragedies upon you to take them." There is no reasoning with these people. They want to destroy you.
 
I am absolutely stunned by the news. I have been following this story since I first heard Charlie Kirk was shot. Then when I got in my car, I heard his death announced on the radio. This is horrible. I don't care if you hated Charlie Kirk or thought he was an Israel shill; he was a great guy and a loving father. I used to have my issues with him, particularly his Israel stances during the Groyper War, but he became much more based towards the end of his life.

Trump winning the first time was really when it all went to shit. Blame it on whatever you want to, but that moment in time is exactly when everyone started spewing nonstop venom at the other side and calling the other side evil. Politics were cordial and boring until then.

I'm saying a prayer for the Kirks tonight but man, this family is going to be going through a lot of shit as well. Maybe they encouraged their son or ignored the warning signs, but their lives are absolutely fucked and they seem like decent enough people, especially that video of grandma talking about her childhood home and that video of the kids seeing their dad home from war.

It's absolutely insane to think that 30 years ago this sort of media couldn't be widely distributed and you never even really would think of the perp's family (except for Columbine Mom who has turned her son's deeds into a sort of grift) and now you can.

I think he's also afraid that he's going to take a lot of blame for stoking shit lately. Whenever something spicy happens, its pretty common to see "Hasan condones this" type talk going around, he's worried as fuck for his personal brand, not just personal safety.

To put it quite bluntly, I've never seen a .22 do that kind of damage... from any sort of distance. There is a reason why people use them for small game, its because it DOESN'T turn a squirrel into pink mist within 25 yards.

The people saying there is going to be a "Civil War" may be exaggerating, but something more akin to the Irish Troubles? Oh absolutely that is now in the cards. This is coming on the heels of an entire year of escalating provocations. 3 attempted assassinations of Trump, one which actually did kill people, the charlotte stabbing, the Mexican riots in LA where they waved foreign flags, burned down shit and attacked federal buildings while chanting "Viva La Razza", the media either trying to pretend its not happening, or saying its somehow the countries fault, and now this.

The blood is now very much on the ground. This is the normalization of violence as a political tool and people are not going to just pretend its not there. At no time in history has things deescalated from this point. I 100% guarantee you within 3 months of this post at least one prominent democratic party influencer, if not a politician will be gunned down to their death in a political assassination. Its just not avoidable. It doesn't even have to be organized. It is simply a product of the cultural situation.

There really is no point in even trying to assign blame anymore. Is it because of Blue Sky and Reddit echo chambers? The incessant propagandizing by the corporate media? None of that matters. The damage has been done and the forces that are now unleashed are NOT going to be stopped by trying to reign in these platforms now. The horses have left, and closing the barn door now is less then useless.

No doubt the media is collectively praying please don't be another tranny shooter as we speak, while also quietly wishing whoever the shooter is was the one taking a shot at trump instead. Speaking of which i'd say its a good bet that given trump himself nearly ended up going the same way he's pretty pissed off right about now and a bit spooked. No doubt he's going to push for some kind of response to the shooting soon and will demand the shooter get the book thrown at him, assuming he's taken alive, which at this point i'm starting to doubt he will be. You can bet trump will be making a point of ensuring his secret service detail are extra careful about their job after this incident when it comes to clearing wherever he's making a speech

That said if this shit keeps up we're in for a repeat of the 70s weather underground shit which won't end well for anybody. Either that or some left wing american version of the IRA
