It's psychology at the end of the day. This came up yesterday, I'll mention it again. Same behavior happened in Moscow during the worst of the USSR. It's just not worth it to intervene anymore because the state is such a bureaucratic nightmare and so hostile to anyone but itself acting that it's a complete disincentive to do anything to help anyone. A drunk could pass out on the street in winter and die in front of the pub because it was just too much trouble being begged to do anything about him. Similar shit in mainland China and food service. The place is poison to novel ideas because anyone with a genuinely good idea will immediately have 5-10 other copycats descend upon them, cut every corner you didn't because you might have a modicum of a fuck about tawdry things like service, food quality, or food safety, and poison the market so badly, sometimes literally, that nothing can ever be done. This is all the while the local commissars are making money hand over fist with bribes so much I've heard of them getting into small scale bureaucratic wars with each other when they start having effective turf wars for who gets to bilk people.

As much as we may want, plead, and demand that all of these bystanders shoulda done something... it's not your ass on the line. You try saving the girl? You might get sued for anything you do to help. This same behavior can be observed in every single society where the law doesn't do its job and effectively protects criminality while punishing do-gooderism. That's the state of these big cities. White, black, red, brown, doesn't matter. Helping people gets you screwed, minding your own business might let you escape unharmed. Eventually you learn helplessness, and this is just all tragedy if you ask me about the bystanders. I can't even be mad because I know I probably wouldn't have done anything once I factor in how it's gonna be my ass on the line in who knows how many ways I can't anticipate.

Moral of the story, DAs need to prosecute, and judges need to sentence. While I have my disagreements with just going and suing the judges, that's not because I cut them any slack, I just want to make sure when we bite, we've got teeth as monstrous as we can make 'em.
 
Only way I'd feel relatively safe in public transit if there's armed cops/security there at all times with full discretion to quell whatever threat is there.

Why do liberals jump to "muh mental HEALTH" whenever something like this happens? As if that's a rationalization for an obvious career criminal doing criminal things in public. Matter of fact, it feels like "mental health" is the go-to excuse now for public abhorrent behavior.

The state had plenty of chances to fix his mental health and took none of them. This is a failure of the state more than anything.

And by fix mental health I mean MK Ultra his ass to act like a white man and stop being a retard.
 
ICE raids, Israeli air strikes, drug runners getting bombed, aliens (?) showing off their technology by making our most advanced weapons look silly, AI being pushed everywhere, Democrats are doubling down on their absurdity, Epstein keeps being brought up, the economy is either good or bad depending on who you ask and a woman getting stabbed by a man of certain complexion causing national outrage. What an interesting time to be an American, never a dull moment that much can be said.

I agree. A lot of this thread has little to do with US Politics and instead is flooded with whiny zoomers whining about brown people. We need a quarantine thread. Yap away but complaining about niggers is not U.S Politics.

Even then, it's still interstate commerce, since the Court ruled that any action that could affect the prices of goods traded across state lines, including growing a garden in your back yard for personal consumption, is interstate commerce.

You don't have to be a Groyper to know this. The photo is of teenagers in Little Rock, Arkansas being opposed by deployed soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (called in by President Eisenhower) during forced racial integration of high schools in 1957 due to the Supreme Court ruling Brown v. Board of Education in 1954. The NAACP had registered nine Black students to attend the previously all-white Little Rock Central High, selected on the criteria of excellent grades and attendance.

It's all about avoiding personal responsibility.
Nothing anyone does is really their fault (unless both their parents happened to be white; then it's their fault for not telling their parents not to be racist).
Do whatever you want. Steal whatever you want. Who cares? Everything sucks, so you might as well get yours.
It's basically an even dumber version of anarcho-tyranny because it's done completely by accident.
