I think someone may have offered an answer, but I could see the state sending home school families the required learning materials and requiring an online exam similar to those who earn professional continuing education credits via webinar. Whatever NJ proposes, I expect a lot of pushback and home school families looking to find creative ways to either sidestep the requirement or perform malicious compliance that causes more hassle than expected for the state.
