I heard a story once about a nigger funeral from a lawyer who had some of the niggers as clients in some petty lawsuit they were waging. Guy was out at a 'social club' and he died. He was playing poker, and he died sitting up in the chair. Rigor mortis set in before anyone noticed Quantell wasn't following the play anymore, so to speak. Eventually they catch on, and call the law to get him hauled off. Hauled out, autopsy, natural causes. They release the body to the mortuary, who embalm him. They have a hard time positioning him in the box because of his death positioning, but they get the lid closed and wheel him out for the service. The service goes on, lots of "Oh Lawd!"-ing and "He was so young". Anyway, suddenly the top of the casket pops open, and the body's sits up. "OH my Gawd, he alive!" cries. Then the autopsy stitching lets go, and his gut dumps out over his lap and the bottom of the casket. The smell cleared the building. In all fairness, I probably would've had the same reaction.
