Holy catharsis, Batman!I mean, he’s got a point! Niko yanked his ear for calling him Piper in case anyone forgot.

Unfortunately for us, it looks like there’s going to be another hiatus because someone’s being a little bitch bunny.

“The story is about ableism, and Kai is a walking example who needs to learn to be a better friend.” Oh you can fuck all the way off. You specifically said that this story is about homophobia too. Oh I’m sorry, apparently that only applies to Percy, even though he’s not the one who’s got a shitty hovel, divorcing parents, a smack on the face, and a bleak future.

God, it’s too early for this shit.
EDIT: SnP had to be tardwrangled away from giving a response
(This is the only response given by TSB; every other criticism/praise on the most recent page is being responded to by Egge)
Additionally, just in case you missed it:
SnP is now going so far as to fence-sit each side to avoid criticism
EDIT: out of curiosity I went looking for that tumblr post SpiderLily mentioned, and wow
And, of course, SnP's response:

(Mouse with a Dinosaur Tail was SnP's first alias)

So, because anyone who still makes Nuzlocke comics is both completely insane and the definition of a giant pussy, the Nuzlocke Forums do not allow critique of comics without an explicit "critique level" tag. This was recently (Aug. 13th) revamped into a "feedback level" system, presumably to make things more clear:

(note, here, how "open" (receiving any criticism no matter what) is colored dark red and described with such terms as "no holds barred" and "free for all": this is the type of insanity that is standard around these parts
)
If you want a more in-depth explanation of the entire tag system, you can read about it here, near the bottom of the post, but all you need to really know is that the old "critique level" tags that ranged from 1-5 were consolidated into this new feedback system. Critique levels 4-5 were consolidated into "Open," the big scary evil "no holds barred" level where anything goes.

Wanna guess which level of feedback Pipe UP! had before the revamp?
THAT'S RIGHT
CRITIQUE LEVEL 4, THE LITERAL HIGHEST LEVEL YOU CAN GO WITHOUT STARTING FIGHTS!

God only knows what she'll make it now. I wonder if she'll pussy out and just set it to "positive," or if she'll keep it "open" and then throw another hissy fit when someone inevitably disagrees with her writing?

I couldn't find a hint of what SpiderLily was talking about (so either SnP deleted it or it never existed to begin with), but this was honestly worth the visit all on its own. Gonna keep looking through the actual comic tumblr for SpiderLily's referenced post because I just realized that blog is also posting actual responses and text now.
EDIT 2: The vast majority of PU's ask box is SnP parroting praise (ironically, most of it is under the tag "#pipeup critical"), of course, but here are some highlights:
