I suspect the auto-censoring implementation is part of the recent change to posts being auto-translated to the user's language by default. If it's using machine translation to do this we sadly won't be graced by another buttbuttination classic or the hit and miss nature of the jihad against cisgenderism.

Get used to this, shoving AI into everything is done for this specific purpose. The end game is to be able to "correct" people live on air, via TV or a live stream, and to be able to "correct" videos made years ago en-masse, not just ones made now. Musk is a ketamine sperg, but as a result of his expensive purchase there is far less censorship than there used to be. Twitter was once a tool for controlling public perception on a variety of culture war issues by creating the illusion of consensus and suppressing dissent. Now the circlejerk is broken up, and real discussions about race, trannies, etc., can be had.

The narrative is still controlled, you're just given an illusion that the problem has been solved. It isn't, just like with the recent trend of "anti-woke" content creators who are perfectly fine with things like gays, girlbosses, blackwashing ect. in their media as long as "SJW snowflakes are triggered". This is only the beginning, first they're going to censor your language("Black Man") then they're going to censor the topic, then they're going to make it forbidden to talk about the certain topics and we will be back to square one. There is more bots than ever before, and they can easily force consensus and manufacture context, this doesn't even need to be mandated by governments or groups and can be done by individuals and Elon won't care as long as it's something he agrees with.

There are times when it's applicable, but mostly I see it when someone has no idea has subtext is. The neat thing about conversations is that you don't have to outright say everything, you can easily just imply it. Just don't get mad when someone sees through you.
