Stella and Stolas had arranged porrige. They honestly both succ as persons and both cheat on eachother. There's really no redemption for either of them.
Stolas is perhaps more "forgivable" as he actually cares about the brat, but even then, he bangs/is banged by the red devil.

I don't know what can you really take from this show, they are all absolute shit to eachother.
It's Jersy shore, but with imps.
There actually is no confirmation yet that Stella has cheated on Stolas yet. I'm surprised there hasn't been revealed that Stella was openly sleeping around with goetia men with how much the show loves to villainize her and tries to prove that she did deserve to get cheated on, but I digress.

Anyway the main problem is that we still have very little clue of what their marriage was like for the past 17 years. We have Stolas' words of course that said she was constantly cruel to him, but it has been shown that Stolas is an unreliable neighbor who just doesn't seem to understand what is going on around him all the time and how his own actions affect people. He says that he has never looked down on Blitzø before but the words he has said and actions he has done before would prove otherwise. His daughter had to run away TWICE to figure out something was wrong. Stolas just never seems to notice what's going on until it get's to be the absolute worst possible moment.

This is not even taking into account the relationship between Stella and Octavia. I have no idea if the relationship is positive, negative, or just plain neutral. All we got so far is that she appear to be happy in every family photo with Stella, she also called for her mom as well when she was having a nightmare, she willingly goes to her mom's over the weekends, and she has never expressed one bad thing about Stella when her family life was crumbling unlike with Stolas. With Stella, it's even less. We again only have the family photos, Octavia being with her over the weekends, expressing to Stolas that he doesn't want him turning Octavia against her, and that she doesn't seem to mind that Octavia would get all of Stolas' power and wealth if he died. You could theorize with this information sure, but that's all it is; a theory. We don't have enough information to confirm because the show just doesn't want these two females to interact. Hell, the one time they do interact is not even much of an interaction because it's still about Stolas. They only exist to be an extension of Stolas and not their own character.

And this probably wouldn't be that big of a deal if this show was still an episodic comedy and the family drama didn't have much to do with the grander sceme of things. But that's not the case. The family drama is very important to the show's story and is one of the major driving points that moves the plot along.

This really strikes at the heart of the issue. The only time we ever see Octavia happy is either when she's with Stolas or looking forward to being with Stolas. Granted, that may be because, for a character that's supposed to be the center of Stolas' universe, she doesn't show up that much. Still, though.

I do wonder what the nightmare scene would have been like if Stella had gone instead of Stolas, though. Especially since she doesn't have any powers, at least that we've seen.

I have no idea how it would have went. I know the fandom would love to say Stella would just tell Octavia to suck it up or something along that line, but I can't say that to be true because there is no proof that she would treat her daughter negatively.

Do these pictures look like a mom who doesn't care even a little bit about her daughter?

The middle one is interesting, since it's the only one where Stella is actually touching Octavia. Although, unless I'm mistaken, that's the one that's burning in "I Will Be Okay" i.e. in Octavia's imagination. I hate to be "that guy" - I agree with you - but I know what the fans would say.

It's too bad. Stella looks adorable in the third one.

Viv wants you to forget about these images because they come from an era when HH and HB were at least trying to be somewhat nuanced regarding their characters. Prime example is Striker's first appearance was at least somewhat memorable because his big speech about how Stolas (and royals in general) don't give a single fuck about Imps was very hard to argue against, now he's shown to happily work with royals as part of a kangaroo court to get Blitzo executed, with his hatred of Hell's upper class not even being mentioned in S2.

He's basically just a recurring villain of the week from a saturday morning cartoon than a character with any thought put behind him anymore.

I will give them this, the pirate merch looks fun.
Also, next short seems to be about Moxxie.

Moxxie having Daddy Issues about his Gangster Father. That`s will be all the short

I hope you're wrong, but you probably aren't. I don't have high hopes that the writing crew can do a mob episode justice. I wish Moxxie had more screentime and character development overall. From the pilot and early episodes I thought he was around because he's a firearms guy(whatever that means to a 30-some fujoshi), but it's such an under-utilized theme. The fight against DHORKS would have been a great chance to get him in that fight scene with Millie, but instead he's singing a musical while getting MKUltra'd into telling his boss he let's his wife peg him. Just give my poor man his Matrix/Equilibrium/John Wick pastiche and give people a reason to go "oh shit, THAT'S what he can do". I'm sure they can fish one of those old stick fight animators out of some corner of the net to help them nail the flow.

Perfect example of just how forgettable Millie is

I guess I'm the odd one out, I like Millie. I am also extremely biased towards women with a THICK country accent. Her and Moxxie are one of the few couple dynamics that don't feel like Tumblr fanfic most of the time. Their relationship is the most charming/believable of the pairs. Blitzo has troubled pasts with essentially everyone he's been with, Stolas is a faggot who let his relationship with his wife and daughter go to the wayside to chase imp clown ass (much to the dismay of Stella), and the others are pretty one-dimensional and dysfunctional. When Moxxie and Millie have relationship issues, you can actually feel for them because they're not scumbags making every possible move to make the situation worse. All that being said, Millie herself does feel underdeveloped.

This puts me in the same place that "gentle brain damage" one did where I don't know whether to feel sad or to laugh?

Imagine being Blitzo's mother's ghost. You're finally getting to meet the boyfriend your son's been talking about for weeks and he drags this disgraced fop with a boob window out of the bushes.

This hits my feelings a certain way. At least it's more wholesome then brain damage cuckold porn that ends in a murder-suicide. Without powerleveling too hard I actually experienced this (the gravesite visit, not the latter). My mother would have been equally dismayed at the choice of woman my ex was. I guess that explains the odd noises and shit rolling off tables at night, mom was haunting me for being an idiot.

The funny thing is that the majority of the fandom doesn't even know the middle picture even exists. Because it was not readily available like the others. It's behind a paywall. They love to acknowledge that Stolas is the only one to have his hands on Octavia and that means he's the only one that truly loves her. And I'm just here thinking, no there is a picture of Stella placing a hand on Octavia too. But it doesn't matter because they'll just chalk it up that Stella is only pretending to be happy and loving her daughter because they like to think in their head that Stella is some master manipulator that is pulling the strings on everything. Even though the show itself says she's an idiot and her brother is the true mastermind of it all.

Plus let's not forget that Stella was never one to fake her emotions and true feelings. She's very open and blunt. Though, it is a bit interesting that she isn't shown to be a screaming banshee until after Stolas cheated on her.

I would agree but it's not like Viv hasn't changed stuff in Helluva Boss before. There's Barbie Wire who was removed from the scene where the circus catches on fire in the episode Oops, and let's not forget the whole Millie almost committing suicide was completely taken out of the episode Ghostfuckers. The fact that the pictures that showed Stella smiling with her family genuinely in the original storyboards just pretty much stayed the same in the final production is a mystery to me. The portraits must have been done after Viv decided to change the course of the story and have Stella being an irredeemable bitch with no nuance. They were probably even done after The Circus episode was released to the public. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I wonder how much of the demonization (you know what I mean) of Stella is just Vivz being spiteful that people actually liked her, as little as they were given.

She was probably hoping that Loo Loo Land would have more people on Stolas' side than Stella's. But she forgot that most people are going to side with the person that has been cheated on instead of the cheater, even if it is gay. So then she decided that Stella would put a hit on Stolas. Which yeah, not a good thing to do, but our protagonists are killing multiple people so who gives a damn.

So then Viv was like "She never loved Stolas. It was an arranged marriage and Stolas is canonically gay." Oh, so she was forced to marry a guy that could never love her and to carry his child that she may have never even wanted in the first place. "Well, she was born evil." Oh, so she has a mental disorder that she doesn't have treatment for. "Well, she's stupid and her brother has to do everything for her." Oh, so she doesn't have the mental capacity for what is going on and is being manipulated by her brother.

And on and on it will go. The more Viv tries to show how terrible Stella, the more she unintentionally adds sympathy to this chatacter.

You forgot Strikers horse too. They are the best characters.
Mhm, I can't wait for the redraw of Mammon soon.

I also want to mention the two characters that were out the moment they were needed for one sad backstory. Moxxie and Blitz's mother, I really like Moxxie's Mother. I am glad the show killed her off so they wouldn't ruin her.

I hate Moxxie's father crimson with an extreme prejudice. He's literally just Moxxie with a new hat doing a bad Marlon Brando impression.

I can't be surprised Reddit would have shit takes such as these, but seriously?? Octavia is clearly portrayed as sympathetic, yet her feelings are completely downplayed compared to Stolas' situation? I feel like we're beating a dead horse at this point, but what the hell else is there to talk about during the wait for season 3?
Moxxie's mom is one of the best designed characters in the show.. Shame she won't be used more in the future.

It's hard to say if I like these characters because they're not really even characters. They're just "nice", and that's it. I would say that I like Millie's parents, Joe and Lin, because I see them to be the typical good people according to Hell's standards and cultures. Blitzø's and Moxxie's mom, especially Moxxie's mom, just don't feel like they properly fit in this setting. Anyway, here's a gif of the happy couple.

That's why leaks are fun. Because people be coming up with their own theories in what's going to happen, and you're just sitting there with a big goofy smile on your face because you know how it's actually going to happened, and you just know that shit is going to go down with stuff that is revealed. It's why I can't wait for the second episode of season 2, because once the audience sees Sera putting a barrier around Heaven, most are going to be wondering why she didn't do that in the first place.
I'll say that I'm rather impressed with how, at least the highest upvoted comments regarding S2 are begging that Emily not fall. Even Redditors recognize that having her fall would completely destroy the entire point of her character.
