Unfortunately I think you’re overly optimistic. They recently did a in-depth series/podcast called The Protocol on youth gender medicine that demonstrated to me they are still terrified of using any real journalistic standards on the subject.

Some ppl felt the fact they dared to cover The Cass Report showed progress, but it was very underwhelming and almost apologetic for covering one of the most important, useful and scientific studies ever done on the subject. They fell over themselves to apologize before any questions about the lack of data for the gender experiments being done on children. As usual they gave far too much weight to antidotal stories, individual feelings and weak data

Most of the solid reporters at the NYT got pushed out, canceled or fired over the past eight years. They are left with a very cowed staff that is more committed to avoiding a private or public leftest struggle session than actual reporting.

Mom worked at a Catholic school for five years, she took the job when Robert would have been starting high school. She might have been seeking more traditional community engagement while dealing with her son’s issues. (Might have taken the job because it was one of the schools Robert went too) She left the job around the time Robert would have been due to graduate high school, or within a year of it. All depends on his birthdate, grades and any issues that might have had led to him graduating late.

Nice upper middle class Minneapolis parents would have sought professional help for their son and I’m deadly curious about it. They don’t strike me as uber woke cheerleader types, but as concerned parents that would have listened to doctors and counselors and earnestly tried to do the “right thing. “

Reads to me like he made a huge deal about being trans, they went along with it (prob with lots of support from a doctor and therapist) and then grew tired of it after a few years. There are over 8 billion people on earth and only 49.4 million of them are trans. They really aren't gonna take over the world man.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that, statistically, trannies are more likely to be violent than normies, so most transphobes are just talking. They're more vulnerable to radicalization, and are far more likely to commit crimes than females (some studies say it's comparable to male crime rates, others say more likely to commit sex crimes than normal men, but a good portion of the ones in prison are there for sex crimes.)

We also have to take into consideration that, although you're looking at the number of trannies on Earth, most of them are holed up in the west where this crazy and regressive ideology has been allowed to flourish. Nearly 10% of Americans alone identify as some sort of gender special. When you consider that between 10% and 13% of Americans are left-handed, you're looking at similar numbers. Of your 49.4 million, at least 20 million of those are in the US alone. I would assume the bulk of the rest of them are spread out over Europe, with less woke countries accounting for smaller populations.

This group has managed to hijack political discourse and change what is legally considered a woman in terms of scholarships, sportsmanship, incarceration, where they can undress, etc. That's a lot of power, given their numbers. Moreover, we can now safely assume that they have more mass shooters per capita than even the black population.

Even more concerning is when you realize how likely a person of gender is to have other significant behavioral issues.

I don't doubt there are plenty of HSTS-types who are living their lives. Back in the old, more gatekeeping days, there were probably more. Regardless, between drag queen storytimes, schools using gender roles and stereotypes as way to get kids questioning their gender, and everything else that's going on, there are plenty of reasons for normies to finally say, "enough is enough."
