There are better ways to revitalize the brand without changing the image, but many people in marketing these days are simply lazy. The Bud Light situation was different: Anheuser-Busch hired a PR firm, which then sent out marketing packages to marketing influencers, which is how Dylan Mulvaney got involved. The Bud Light fiasco was a lesson on why companies ought to directly oversee marketing campaigns.
