To all the “they can’t take muh alcohol” posters, read a history book, specifically 100 yrs ago from today.
 
And then stores started selling fruit juice and yeast, with big warning labels that said not to mix them and wait a few days because then it would become alcoholic and that's highly illegal. The government can try to ban booze again, but it would backfire even harder than last time.

This apathetic “it can’t happen to ME!” is why this shit keeps happening.

To be absolutely clear, I am not saying I believe alcohol will be banned due to this incident. I’m saying it’s naive as fuck to think your rights are a given when we have governments who have and will take them at a moments notice. Thinking they’re a given makes the populace apathetic and easy to take from.

Prohibition wouldn’t work, as history suggests. Reforming some delivery laws would help and if, by some miracle the ones contributing to the death of an alcoholic being held accountable came of this I’d be over the moon.

It seems people go into real life messing with people instead of just sitting back and watching far too often. It’s one thing to leave a comment about someone but it’s a whole other thing to send them the supplies to slowly hurt themselves.

People doordashing him kitty litter or weird foods was funny but reddit and discord morons took something innocent and ruined it by sending him copious amounts of cheap booze. For Cobra, it probably felt like "fans" trying to look out for him, that he always has supply of alcohol, in reality those were his worst trolls that wanted to accelerate his downfall.
