The US sought to industrialize Japan after the war, though the problem with that is the industrialization has led to the people being worked to death there to the point where there are legitimate concerns about the ethnicity dying out. How about just defend the border instead of pretending it was a surprise attack which could have been prevented? FDR was a Wilsonite who wanted to be a hero, just like the latter.
Pearl Harbor wasn't the only thing the Japanese attacked. It was part of a wider coordinated offensive operation. There was never going to be any walking back from it due to that and of course, the great loss of life.

Japanese military actions that took place o, only hours before or after the strike in Hawaii:
Invasion of Thailand (Japan wanted Thailand as a base of operations to invade neighboring Malaya which is what happened)
Battle of Hong Kong (property of the United Kingdom at the time)
Invasion of the Philippines (which was a Commonwealth of the United States)
Invasion of Guam (American territory)
Invasion of Wake Island (American territory)
Attack on Midway (American territory)

Hard to feel any sympathy for the Japan when it's quite clear they bit off more then they could chew.

How about just defend the border
?????

Do you know where Pearl Harbor is located? What border are you thinking of exactly between the Japs and a harbor on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? There's shit about Pearl Harbor that can be litigated, but if you think there's some checkpoint we should have been manning that would stop them getting close enough to launch a surprise air attack on Hawaii, you're ngmi.

It's an archipelago, you defend it. It's American land, the island is a border even if no other land mass is connected to it.

@LiquidKid - Has anyone else noticed how the media is really pushing Newsom as a challenger to Vance?

0But I honestly think you and @Oh! have bought into some hype about the doxing power of the farms and its insidious influence; then on top of that, you're applying the narrative to parts of the site where it is completely unwarranted.
I completely understand where you're coming from, I just disagree. It's about signal-to-noise. This site was originally just an extension of the CWCki, then became Lolcow general, then became what it is today. My counterargument is that you are failing to keep up with the times. KF has become one of the last bastions of free speech on the non(-typically)-dark-web and attracts the people intelligent enough to recognize that /pol/, the Sharty, etc., have been overrun by feds trying to troon people out or turn them into shooters. I came here to laugh at Styx, Cobes (rest in piss), and Rekieta, and just kind of gravitated towards this thread once I bothered to register after many years. I doubt I'm unique in that aspect.

Depending on how you define the term, KF is radicalizing. You can't post uncensored truths for so many years without attracting a certain kind of person.

However, most people are retarded and this place is no exception. But you'll find that's also the case on Reddit, /pol/, and the Sharty, which are demonstrably heavily infiltrated.

that's the best the democrats can hope for, they know they have to run a White guy. Vance is a good candidate, not as strong as Trump, but he's still pretty good. With all the deportations, the new census, etc I'm sure Vance will win handily even against newskum.

there's a particular poster that once posted they live about a little south of DC. Alexandria and Langley are famous glowie hot spots. That poster I'm 100% is either an intel agent, or an NGO poster.
Telling you where they're from as a fed is a bold move. And they could very well be a fed or work for an NGO, but do you really think their job is to post here?
If I were to take a guess between 30-50% of all posters in this thread is a paid poster of some kind.
We have very different basic views of reality. I guess if you're really trying to subvert a space, it would make sense to make up the bulk of posters so you can control both sides of arguments and establish consensus. I just struggle to see this as a space worthy of that attention.

also, how the second world war is taught, needs a revamp. It is sending the wrong message, how can that be changed to properly send a good message.
Make it more clear that the Nazi’s we’re a socialist party and a lot of democrat talking points and goals are directly from Hitler’s agenda, make it clear how the war was won thanks to America, and make sure Japan is treated very harshly for its history because they always get to weasel out of any accountability. None of this “atom bombs bad, America was the true villain” garbage

Possibly, they seem to make good posts I generally agree with, so I don't see a problem either way.

this forum is going to be suing the UK with 4chan. I think that's pretty important. I've meet many people who've heard of the forum, but have never been on it. It's seen the way 4chan was seen 10-15 years ago. also "Politics is war by other means" - Carl von Clausewitz

All of that in mind, the reason I post my opinions online is to spread them. I think my ideas are right. I'm willing to change my mind on ideas if those ideas are correct. So I don't care if a poster is being paid to spread particular ideas, just if those ideas are good or bad.

Vance needs a good strong VP. and honestly, Vance has been the best VP in my lifetime, I hope he can capture that spark and get some really good person to back him up.

Hegseth? I feel like a Vance/Hegseth ticket would be pretty good. I'd also take mommy Tulsi for VP, but I think Hegseth would be a stronger choice.

If you're not into ass, you're into tits. If you're not into ass or tits, then you're into feet. If you're not into any of those, you're a fucking freak
i don’t know why everyone goes directly to feet, men have coveted legs far longer than feet. Legs, especially the thigh, are clearly the third pillar. Tits/ass/legs.

But to admit America won the war really entails it was American manufacturing and industrial base. Doesn't work well when "they" want to justify outsourcing and offshoring your industry.

hegseth, or Tulsi would make for a strong STRONG double veteran ticket. Something about hegseth feels off to me, but maybe i let that stupid signalgate stuff get in my head.

he fired a few good people, dan caldwell was one of them, and i can't fathom why.

I conflate thighs with ass because I like both but I suppose you raise a good point.

The foot fetish is the direct result of a crossed wire in the brain which no other fetish can claim. It's a legit brain defect.

A significant amount of research indicates that tits became so exaggerated because they act as a sort of 'front-butt' to trigger the same instincts and serve as a secondary sexual characteristic for mate selection.

This may be better-suited for another thread but I dunno. Debating tits vs. ass feels like the core political issue of our time, in many ways.

Agree. However I bet that was some hardcore politicing. Being in the least bit Israel skeptic at the pentagon isn't gonna fly. It would be like someone at the pentagon saying we should be skeptical of our relationship with Hawaii, it's just not allowed. I do think he was innocent of "leaking" no one even told us what information he "leaked". hopefully in 2028 Caldwell can have a position in the political side of the admin.

Rubio seems likely. He's been intentionally involved in a lot like the Putin talks, juggling multiple roles, likeable, funny, and Vance gets along well with him. He does lisp though, so that could be a detriment just due to the vibe it gives off.

Hegseth seems a bit off to me, though I don't dislike him. I can't see him as a VP. Tulsi I still have concerns about, in terms of reliability and actual policy. And neither have been all that active outside of the assigned roles, albeit they've been doing a good job.
