I’m going to buy a bottle of champagne when boogie dies
I shudder at the idea of celebrating the death of anybody, but god dammit, Cyraxx makes me legitimately MATI. Cobra was a filthy weirdo who talked about sickos and Ozzy's grandkids way too often for the comfort of normies, but god dammit he was genuinely human. Cyraxx is a goblin pederast who leeches off their grandmother/tard wrangler and brings only misery to everybody around him.

That's the difference. Even when Cobra was at his drunkest and most sicko, he still brought great joy to thousands of people because of who he was. Not because of the harm he was doing to others.

I'm still about 100 pages behind in this thread, so someone might have already said something like this, but I want to say my piece. I never wanted to add to the constant debate of Clint was a good father or not, but I've always believed he did his best with Josh.

Clint was in an impossible, unwinnable situation with Josh. There is no one on the face of this planet who could have shaped him into a normal, productive member of society. Parenting doesn't come with a manual, let alone one for someone with the mental issues Josh had. Josh was too dumb to understand what was best for his health, his mental conditions made him too combative to logic with or accept that he needed help, and he was too depressed to really care. Clint couldn't legally force him into rehab or accept medical help. The fuck was he actually supposed to do?

That's not to say there aren't valid criticisms. I think buying Josh a lathe was playing with fire and I'm appalled that someone in as poor health as Josh was at the end didn't have a working phone. But Clint loved his boy and I never doubted that for a second. He set Josh up to live his life on his terms, and in turn, we got to witness the magic that was King Cobra.

I'm sickened that Clint had to come online and make a video within the 24 hours he found his own son dead, just in the hopes that the fucking troles would leave his family alone. I got a bittersweet chuckle out of the grief laden but heartfelt 'fuck sickos'. I was touched that Clint was tuned in to Josh's life enough to know all the Cobra-isms. And even though alcohol is probably what did him in, Clint is right in saying that we should make a drink combo in honor of Josh. It's what he would have wanted.

I hope you're shreddin' with Ozzy up there in Gothic Heaven in the grandest bell tower of your dreams. Maybe Jimi could even pop by and help you get the Star Spangled Banner under your fingers.

Rest easy, Cobes.

P.S. - You guys want to know a secret? I've always been super jealous that Josh's music got the attention of Gerard Way, who is one of my favorite musicians. I'm a musician as well and I know that I'll never achieve that. It's hilarious and humbling that Josh will always have that on me.

There does exist legal precedence for it, but given that Alcohol is legal, that King Cobra accepted the delivery, etc. It would be a longshot to prosecute random redditors, despite the fact that under God's Law, all involved should be hung by the neck until dead.
Using duster as an inhalant is illegal in 46 states including Wyoming, so if he actually somehow directly died from duster, and you could prove the person who sent it knew he was going to use it that way, you could probably use that law. But alcohol is legal, even Everclear (in Wyoming), so you'd almost have to show that they literally knew he was going to drink it and knew he was going to die from drinking it. That's probably not the case.

We also don't really know what he died of. His compromised health state certainly didn't help, but if it wasn't pancreatitis from his recently increased drinking, it might have been food poisoning from his terrible food hygiene.

Long Sperging ahead.

You dont gotta tell clint he could have done more. He very obviously knows. Dudes heartbroken. Hes gonna blame himself forever. Its very easy to pile on clint right now but we are never gonna actually no anything for sure. But one fact is this. For better or worse. For 34 years or so. Clint was the one and only thing consistent in Josh's life. You cant force a grown man to get clean. You cant force a grown man into a home. Blah blah blah. But like for real. He tried to bond with cobes. He was there to help move cobes after 2 evictions from apartments hed vouched for cobes for. They kept his fridge stocked when he had no money to eat. He helped him get into his shitty wand making hobby. I mean its been memed to death but like "its not a toy dad" how many of you have a gay lame retard hobby your dad would help you bring to fruition from start to fucking finish? Im wager 0. Clint was there. Does this make him without blame. No. But our assumptions do no better. My brother died of fent before dying of fent was event a thing. Early onset of the opioid epidemic. My dad couldn't have done shit. But when my brother died I still thought he should have done more. Think is, heroin addict gonna heroin addict. Years later my dad killed himself after developing alcoholism cause he couldn't handle the thought of the fact that he could have done more to save his first born. He knew it. He tried. But its not always so simple. Escpially when you on the outside looking in. Its not always that easy. And that loss is so much harder it compounds the guilt of failure. As a man it fucking kills you. That sorta heavy hard to breathe sobbing between every syllable only comes from a place of tremendous grief and loss and shame and guilt. No clint is not prefect. Nobody is. But he is a very much flawed man who very much loved his very much flawed son. And did everything he could do with the exception of taking away cobes civil liberty and right to free will. Im not trying to garner any sympathy for clint but right now its so easy to chastise the guy when that isnt necessary. Hes gonna carry that burden. You dont gotta twist the knife.

R.i.p. to an absolute enigma.

To weird to live.
To rare to die.

One last smooth Santa wouldnt hurt.
(Everytime I hear it i think of cobes every time I search for it "smooth santa"

This fucking sucks
Pour one out cobebros

If Terry A Davis didn't get special treatment when he died, no one does.
It's probably because Josh was a much more gentle soul compared to Terry. While I love Terry, the risk of Cobra randomly flying off the handle and cause serious harm was practically non-existent. The most he did was yell, scream and unleash his anger on inanimate objects. If memory serves correct, the only "violent" altercation he had was when Warlord was acting like a stupid meth head and got up in his business when Cobes called him a faggot.

I never got big into Cobra, but maybe now is a good time to have a peek. I hope you’re making diabolical crimes against food to your heart’s content wherever you are, Cobes.

Edit: I tried watching the video of his dad breaking the news. I couldn’t finish it. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare to outlive their children. I can’t begin to imagine the heartache that must be happening.

I hope everything goes as smoothly as it can for all involved. This just sucks.

Never thought my goofy little cobra shelf would end up a shrine, or at least this soon.
Cobra's Crude Christmas Carols is a holiday tradition in my home.

sad cobes.webp cobes moon.webp

You never truly realize how important someone is till they are gone. Miss him already, he was our generations Ozzy Osbourne with all the crazy shit he did.

Is there a big list somewhere of all his drink combos? Got a shooter of Jim Beam I wanna use tonight.
I was sure there was a wiki or something a while ago but I can't find it now.

Using duster as an inhalant is illegal in 46 states including Wyoming, so if he actually somehow directly died from duster, and you could prove the person who sent it knew he was going to use it that way, you could probably use that law
Before the faggot a-log sent him computer duster, Cobes had a habit of huffing cologne since he was a teenager. In his earliest videos he could be seen taking big whiffs of cologne with his nostril placed directly on the nozzle. Even in his early adulthood he was doing weird shit to get high, like the "jailhouse acid" made from mixing toothpaste and an orange. Plus, if I'm remembering correctly, the faggot who sent the duster left a note that said "you can get a wicked high from this." So he definitely knew what he was doing.

That was a criminal case. Very different.
I’m saying that the precedent exists to prosecute for texts.
Also doesn't Clits account of what happened conflict with EMS? Like he said he found Josh dead, but EMS showed up and reported there was nobody around?

BC if Clint was actually there 911 would've told him to start compressions even if he was obviously dead, it's their SOP.
in your speed to blame a father for his son’s death, you missed where Clint did try CPR and the “no one there” was because EMS went to the wrong address first.

What the fuck was Clint supposed to do about it? He had two whole options, love Cobes as he was and be in his life or scold him from a distance for being retarded while he drank and huffed anyways.
So, in your view Josh could never have amounted to any other outcome in life except "dead drunk".
OK, fair enough, different way of looking at things. The guy is dead and the time anything could have been done by anyone was gone years ago.

At least I think we can all agree we'll miss this fucking entertaining retard.

Anybody else still in the “denial” stage and keep waiting for Josh and Clint to upload a video called “owned the trolls” where they reveal this was an elaborate plot to reverse-troll and Josh is alive and well?
