Surveillance video showed Brice shoving Schaefer into a flowerpot and then assaulting Crosby when he rushed to his aid.

Evidently, perceiving “racial remarks” provides carte blanche to commit violence even for those who are not persons of politically preferred pigmentation themselves. No doubt it helps if the judge is a libshit:
