What is this thing? (apart from the helpfully labeled satan) I tried looking up my city and it was everywhere, among a metric shitton of pride flags and some anime. I'd say only about 5% of the doodles I saw were anyhow relevant to the place in which they were placed.

Mycology has a lot (and I do mean a lot) of people DIYing things in it, mostly because of Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis).

It can go anywhere from people straight up injecting spore-filled water into "pasteurized" wet rice flour/porous rock mix-filled jars, to people cultivating spores on agar first, culling parts of the upcoming mycelium, using autoclaves to properly pasteurize substrates and bagging/boxing the mixed result.
Proper growers will indeed do the same inoculation methods as you would see in labs, sometimes in two steps, so you can cut out a healthy part out of the first agar, and let it populate on a second, clean plate.
All of this information can be found on basically any mycology website around, it's really not something you need to dig too hard to find.

As a hobby, most people will be fine with Still Air Boxes, which are just boxes with limited airflow to avoid contaminants depositing into pasteurized containers, flow hoods are only really useful if you're doing industrial quantities.
Of course, it's completely worthless to use one if you don't pasteurize your substrate, it's cleaning your hands before you wipe your ass.

The fastest way to understand it is probably to look into the OSRS 2017 pride event / parade. Despite the medieval theming and the game popular with kids, fags felt the need to force their shit as usual. It was fairly divisive and had counter-protests where people would dress up as klansmen or wear frog masks and so on. Became "we pay, we gay" versus "we pay, no gay."

There was probably more to it that was funny but it's been years and I don't remember it well, along with a lot of lying about and banning of the protestors side making it harder to look up now. I'm finding out now that the game brought back pride events as a yearly in 2022, but it seems like it didn't happen this year? Maybe it's the case that people are getting fed up with this stuff.

This is an autistic tangent, I really want to say how fucking retarded it is that trannies were involved and participating in the pride event, because it's at odds with the game world. There's an easily accessible NPC called the make-over mage where you can get an instant sex change with magic and it's been there for two decades. Being trans in runescape is entirely outside of the game and performative, it's not and can't be a thing in-universe unlike something like being gay where you could probably RP something since the game is medieval.

I never get to share eclectic knowledge I gain from my previous endeavors, so indulge me for a sec:

QR codes come in different types and have built-in checksums and resiliency. Depending on the type you use, you can lose a significant amount of dots and have it still be readable. This is why you see a lot of companies with logos planted in the middle of their QR codes on advertisements.

It looks like a Model 2 code, which has four levels of redundancy. They'll have to destroy 7%-30% of the QR code to render it inoperable, depending on which resiliency they chose.

I'm like 90% sure gold is used because it's resistant against corrosion, which is why you see it plated in common corrosion points. copper is still more conductive last i checked.
