I know this is probably petty but I fucking hate Anisa and I's taste in music. I don't know any of the "punk" bands they like but they all have the same garbage entry level punk sound and are obvious industry plants. The safest punk music you could ever find. Their idea of punk is having a gay or female lead singer who probably flashes once or twice and says their punk inspiration is Dolly Parton and talks about sex and periods. All of this as if Blondie didn't exist in the fucking 1970s while it's 2025. The worst is that they never even play the musically talented safe punk industry plants like Idles, just what I can only assume are the zoomer tiktok "sex lol we're punk" bands. Absolute trash.

I just watched this documentary about lasik. I don't think it changes face shape though. There's a high likelihood it destroyed his eyes permanently and he is in constant discomfort/pain and has to buy expensive eye drops.

If THE RAPED is streaming every day and the streams feel disorganized and shitty, that's a hallmark of desperation when it comes to content creators. When they become too lazy and/or creatively bankrupt to make actual videos you trend toward streaming. Of course this isn't always the case, there are creators who stream regularly with a plan, often taking the resulting footage and editing it into a produced video too, especially in gaming circles. That's clearly not the case with Simple Ian here. He's just streaming with no plan and expecting people to tune in because of who he is. At this point the majority of his viewers are probably hate watchers and trolls.

He didn’t vote for Kamala because Hasan wouldn’t endorse her so Anisa told him not to vote in 2024. That’s literally it. Hasan wouldn’t endorse Kamala or Stein and they’re in such a cult they couldn’t risk voting for someone Hasan might not have voted for since he refused to endorse a candidate. By contrast, h3 endorsed Kamala who we now know they already secretly hated and ironically Hasan finally admitted he voted for Kamala in the h3 debate. (Hasan voted live but he wouldn’t show or tell for who).

He didn't do the correct self deprecation and flagellation steps. He would have been just fine if he first did a video called "how I escaped the alt-right pipeline" and talked about how he watched Pewdiepie once and the Swedish brain beams made him vote Republican against his will. But then he caught a glimpse, a mere clip of Hasan or Contrapoints which deradicalized him in an instant.
But instead he let it slip like it was a secret. And even if the end result is the same, it is not the Hasan sanctioned steps to forgiveness.

We joke about it a lot, but seeing Ian clearly struggling to feign satisfaction with Anus's horrid pie made feel oddly uneasy. It's not just because her food looks repugnant. It's the creeping realization that his entire diet consists of Anisa's cooking. He eats digusting slop like that all day every day, and he always has to do it with a smile.
