Far as Phil's gaming skills go, he's a professional with 17 years of experience, and he STILL plays on normal. Fine for some games, but for EVERY game? He should be better by now. Only genres he's good at are 2D Fighters, 2D Sidescrollers, and Gacha. Everywhere else, he's below average. His personality plays a big part into it. He actively avoids learning and improving, and reduces every game to the most simplistic, easy approach he can. Usually tumbles with i-frames and his patented Slug N' Chug approach where he mashes attack then he mashes heal while trading hits.
His reflexes are shot and it's not just his eyesight. Phil often has issues even noticing whether he got hit at all. His favorite title is Super Turbo which is all about putting the enemy in an inescapable flowchart. He generally favors games that are too fast to react to so it taxes other, more basic skills that anyone could reasonably have, like positioning and timing. Even then he sucks at those, as all he can do in modern shooters is sprint in to die, and he doesn't even grasp spawn logic, a thing that isn't beyond even Jordie Jordan. Basically, he's the bot that the engagement matchmaking systems cater to. A guy so dumb he can only land kills when the spawn hands him one, and that needs to be put in a system so he can go Even Steven and not feel like garbage.
As a small aside comment, I'm gonna say that for example his winrate in Marvel Rivals was impressive, specially for how fucking horrible he was at it, but that's more to do with the fuckery that goes on in modern games rather than him being at all decent. There ARE systems in place to prop up retards like Phil, and that's a huge part of why gaming sucks now aside from a few select genres and titles.
Out of the gaming lolcow trifecta, Phil is easily the least skillful of the three, and the most challenge averse. To some extent I think LTG even plays up his supposed incompetence outside of fighting games, because the dude makes weird choices accompanied by weird faces. Jordie straight up plays Skyrim on Master, which makes for interesting streams. He dies somewhat often but he's got the balls to try at least. Phil's a massive pussy who will play ever-so-slightly modded Skyrim on Very Normal again by the time Elder Scrolls VI is on the horizon. Oh, and a shitload of walksims.
God, he's not even doing the Metal Gears as a leadup to Delta. Those are some of the few games where you can really see a gamer's mettle. And Phil's mettle is VERY lacking.
And far as the Pandalee thing went, I think it's somewhat less creepy because we know he didn't fuck her pretty much at all and she had to go around hounding for dick, because she wasn't getting any at home. Fat Kat even has her own abode, so we're dispensing with the more inconvenient parts of having a beard. And he uses her like a beard, too. "I'm not gay! I have a WIFE!!! I am married to a WOMAN!!! I do not hang out with MEN, that's GAY!!!"

Against dumb, AI controlled rosters of other players, so it's even more retarded than you'd think. It's not even like he's beating people, and for the level of whaling he does, he absolutely could be king shit in a PvP gacha.
