How accurate are these in the US? Here they tend to give a lot of benefit of the doubt to the convicted person, especially if they've participated in any kind of related programme at even the most token level. Of course there's also the issue of people saying all the right words when in reality they feel no remorse at all.

Trotting out Dave himself is the best argument against the existence of God. After all, what kind of god could possibly create something as horrible as Dave Muscato? Not even Baal or Moloch would have done something that fucked up and they're pure evil.

Bad kids can happen to good parents and vice versa. Dave's brothers seem to be far less fucked up.

I'd wager that Dave's having a twin brother who soon showed he was going to grow up to be tall and handsome had a lot to do with runt-of-litter Dave's eternal identity crisis.

One of my fav anecdotes, in fact, is about the time Dave thought he was about to put his penis in a vagina, ran to shower, and emerged to find that his lady love had escaped under the sheltering eagle wing of his gorgeous twin bro.

My gut tells me that if Muscato had an attorney, while he could not get Dave off for being mentally ill. That lawyer could negotiate a decent bargain where Dave agrees to undergo certain types of therapy and mental evaluation and following therapists recommendations in exchange for a suspended sentence.

I kind of think he makes an argument for the existence of God because he is likely the disgusting fool mentioned in Psalm 14:1. Maybe it’s not about all nonbelievers. It’s just a prediction about the coming of Dave and his gang. God revealed to King David that some day, far in the future, this hideous abomination would bear his name. David looks upon Dave and his buddies and is inspired to write this hymn. He must tell us. He must warn us.
