As someone completely outside the roblox "community" the very fact that they are making such a huge spectacle out of it is, filming the predator meeting up, "this guy has gotten preds arrested in 48 states!" and the youtuber(s) being the ones to greet them is what puts me off in the first place. The guy presumably also a comment section full of, ironically also young, fans going full on hero worship for him. (the "method" isn't even that originally either, this is just chris hansen) Basically the more it becomes about the youtuber(s) rather than the predators and the less you are allowed to question it the more bullshit it probably is. If roblox mods are truely so incompetent that a "pedo crusader" larp is their best hope then that is pretty tragic.

I also don't doubt there are pedos but I wonder how much of what is caught up in this is kids bypassing chat filters to talk to other kids the same age, because like it or not 8-12 year olds laughing at being able to say "pen is" in a game and older teenagers sexting each other is a pretty universal thing that most people in this thread probably participated in themselves when they were that age, but those kids are vulnerable to adults joining their ranks. I wonder if there's any groups of adult rpers only interacting with other adults. (and I don't mean someone 3 days after their 18th birthday sexting a 43 year old, I mean people the same age) that kick out kids and don't wear those avatars in publicly viewable places (not sure how that works) as you see adults ERPing with each other in other games.

That screenshot of someone saying they were 13 and someone saying they didn't care? THAT is what this should be focused on, not the youtubers actions, not some 12 year old having potty humor, but adults knowingly, sexually, interacting with a child.

Don't be too blackpilled. While it is very true that the burden of evidence is higher for criminal trials then it is for civil ones, there IS a discovery phase. That's the phase we are all interested in. Also Louisiana follows Napoleonic code NOT common law. It's why in every law text book you see an asterixis* next to "does not apply in Louisiana courts". So this might be the floodgate for something nasty. So even IF this does not go somewhere in that state other states may take an interest. Then there are those pesky EU laws and regulations, and THEY ARE interested in what comes out of this.

I've mentioned in another thread nearly two years ago that Roblox is involved in a Class Action lawsuit from investors because of insider trading. This would just be more proof for the lawyers actually prosecuting the case. The combined worth of that insider trading is around $700 Million in stocks. This is the DeKalb County Pention Fund v. Roblox lawsuit.
 
Odds are that this won't kill roblox, but it's certainly going to piss off a bunch of actual pedophiles who want to fuck kids in game and IRL, so that's a good thing.

And the average age of users was probably like 11 even back then.

This game has always been a fucking breeding ground for this sort of shit.

I'm 99.9% sure this has been stated earlier, but in late 2020 Roblox heavily pushed games based off of a pedophilic fetish game that I will not be naming to the front page too.

And they will stupidly make themselves known and we'll all know about it. Because pedophiles, while seemingly clever, are actually retarded. It's always a cycle; Break a pedo ring, route them out, most scatter but most will also complain and bitch about their 'fix' being taken away. Crackdowns start trickling and one by one, a pedo is snagged and is reamed for it in the judicial system.

But what everyone is really clamoring for, is what names we won't or will be surprised to see as to what skeletons are hiding in their closets. Like Roblox streamers and youtubers .etc

It’s worth mentioning that the pedophiles often groom their victims on Discord after meeting them on Roblox. It’s something Roblox likes to use as an excuse to not ban child molesters. Roblox is still responsible for allowing games that are basically hubs for pedophiles to find kids to groom and actively fighting against people who stop the groomers. It’s just worth mentioning that Discord also protects child predators.
 
Any company that is this aggressive about preventing anybody getting in the way of pedophiles using its platform to groom kids has pedophiles high up in the organization. Guaranteed. If a full investigation is done with everyone at the director level on up, you'll find quite a few of them consume or produce Roblox gooner content.

Ok call me insane but I think Baszucki isn’t even considering this whole possible roblox dating service as just a way to make money, I think he must be genuinely into it. Like this nigga ENJOYS, not just tolerates, he likes the fact that kids get exploited on his platform. Everyone has been saying it’s just about the profits but it’s definitely more sinister than that.
