The end of Chibi's stream was pretty funny.

Key points:
- He wants to bring his Nintendo 64 with him in Japan but doesn't know if he has enough space to bring it over.
- Wants to take his PC parts/webcam and audio equipment to Japan in his suitcase.
- If he cannot bring the PC parts he is going to purchase them again in Japan.
- Ends stream prematurely because it's 12am and is worried his brother will get mad at him again for streaming all hours of the night :story:

It's very telling that he doesn't say "I gotta end the stream so that I don't keep my brother awake" but instead says "my brother will chew me out again if I keep streaming".
He still doesn't know why it's a problem lol

This loli horse seems to be Chibi's favorite...

Oh my God, Chibi. If you don't want people to know you're a nonce, you aren't helping things here :cryblood:

I’ve read bits that the Switch/2 N64 emulation leaves a lot to be desired.
I've had no issues using it casually, but some of the more autistic gaming channels I'm subscribed to do say it's pretty bad (that video mentions Paper Mario save corruption, Chibi could never cope!). It'd probably be a bigger issue for Chibi if this is about speedrunning because, being the autists of the autists, they are extremely particular about what platform you run a game on and a lot of them outright ban emulators because of various advantages they afford over real hardware.

All of this is immaterial though because, as we're all pointing out, this stupid shit should be the least of Chibi's concerns. Get settled in Nippon first, then get your mom to FedEx your N64 over to you if you really have to have it.

He is too fucking stupid to get settled. He has been handed everything he has by his family and never had to get anything on his own. All of a sudden he is going to be able to go to a foreign country that is balls deep in a bureaucratic paperwork fetish that will out autism him and get a bank account, apartment, internet, phone plan, set up health insurance and taxes, and figure out how to plan out his life? People like him stay in Japan for about the three months before they realize it was a huge mistake. Wait until he goes to the bank or apartment company, fills out the paperwork, but can't complete it because he doesn't have the name stamp.

Walking distance from Haneda is sus as Hell. You're working near the airport.
Walking distance from Haneda? It's all warehouses and industrial in that area. Even the Tokyo Monorail's stop before the actual airport is in an industrial area.

Unless by "walking distance" he means "half an hour away on foot" or something?

I'll never understand that fascination with Japan (looking outside of Chibi). I'd still rather visit there than say India, Africa or China, but come on.
Weebs have this view of Japan that is like some kind of promised land. Japan does have things to offer that you can't necessarily find elsewhere but it's not the wonderland Chibi makes it out to be.

Having a hanko / inkan is a definite plus but it's not 100% necessary. Managed to get my first bank account and apaato with Mrs. Sebben without using a hanko.

I am about 99% sure that he will be around Anamori-Inari or Ohtori working at one of the ECC Eikaiwas.

When I came to Japan 20 years ago, if you didn't have a hanko, you couldn't open anything.

I got a Hanko made at Hanko @ Tokyo in Shibuya a few years back. I’ve never used it in any real capacity but it was a great experience. One of the women working there spoke excellent English and gave me a brief history of the device. Cool shit. Quite expensive.

Chibi could have saved like $150 if he waited until coming to Japan to get the Switch 2 since the domestic model is significantly discounted, but of course that would have deprived him of the instant gratification of buying a console with only one exclusive on release

To be fair, was he even sure that he was going to Japan when it was released? I don't remember when one was in relation to the other but given how hastily put together his Japan move seems to be, I wouldn't be surprised.

My autism tingles and wants to start a chronological timeline of the Japan arc more than ever now...
