I don't think he's ever considered it. People have repeatedly pointed out to him that he'd be better off doing that, and Pat usually responds by spazzing out about "not letting the idiots win" and similar shit, and then if they continue to suggest it he starts childing them, at which point they inevitably become patposters and then perpetuate the cycle further.
