The "corporations" in Mussolini's Doctrine of Fascism are what we call "trade unions" in the USA. Translating corporazioni as "corporation" is such a bad translation as to be a deliberate obfuscation of the fact that Mussolini was neither "right" nor "left" by Anglosphere standards (I'm not blaming you, this is how the English-speaking Marxists who translated his work did it). A better, more honest translation is "guild."

Something should be noted about Mussolini's corporatism, he was trying to revive the medieval style guild by granting political power and near total monopolistic control to a handful of businesses giants, the end result was a legal monopoly of businesses offering sub par products for exorbitant prices, refusal to adopt new manufacturing technologies, twisting the governments arm to bleed it dry, in short Mussolini was successful in recreating the guilds as they once were.
Corporation in the context of mussolini isn't the same as the corporation understood in the current context. What it means is guild rather than big corpo.
