Quite possibly the worst outcome anyone could have ever imagined. Discord and Roblox are now actively protecting predators as a protected characteristic. So much for protecting the children.
 
Jesus christ, roblox is not only actively enabling chomos now, but straight up protecting them. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they're entirely staffed by pedophiles at this point. They fucking know what they're doing by adding UGC emotes, protecting and extending infinite grace to pedophile game creators, banning or even C&Ding ANYONE that tries to do something about the problem. I can't believe they've gotten so blatant at this point. I thought the ruben sim legal action was a one-off, but it's a fucking pattern now. I think it means nazi salute UGC emotes. Considering Roblox’s horrible moderation they will probably pop up a lot. There will also probably be emotes used to have e-sex in Roblox, which is probably the main concern. At least a nazi salute emote is obvious; the jeets Roblox hires might not be able to tell what the sex emotes are being used for.

They typically don't like getting to the "discovery" phase once you make it clear what you intend to dig into.

I don't know much about Thiel, but Musk doesn't have a reason to give a shit and if anything any skeletons that twitter has in its closet could get exposed if some corporate retaliation occurred. I doubt X has some flawless means of keeping chomos off the site.
 
The more I hear about Roblox the more MATI I get. I understand how impossible it is to fully moderate a platform that has millions of user-submitted items and games, but like c'mon is it really too much to at least pretend to care about kid's safety? I'm not saying they need to do ID verification or whatever but there's already proof that they don't do enough to moderate and punish problematic users.

What other game or platform has problems with people forming vigilante group and needing to have a community-made ban list that thousands of developers feel they need to have in their games in order to feel safe?

Nobody is asking for flawless means. All that people want is for pedophiles to be banned when they are reported, and failing that at least don't ban people who call them out.

X is a saint compared to Roblox. X has no problem banning pedophiles last time I checked, and they definitely allow people to call other people out for being pedophiles. Both things Roblox doesn't do.

Realistically, the biggest problem with Musk is that he's (accused of being) a Nazi and Roblox would be playing those optics up.

Musk getting into lawsuits over speech, especially on his platform is a direct benefit that can be associated with the cost. There is zero benefit for Musk of getting involved in Roblox unless he wants to eventually buy it and clean house or something. He's not some billionaire superhero with lawsuit powers that'll save the day from pedos.
 
I watched about 10 seconds of a CNN interview with David Baszuki, Roblox's CEO. His facial expressions and mannerisms remind me of a predator I knew as a kid. Thankfully, nothing ever happened to me, but I see so much of that guy in the CEO.

Dude is 100% a pedophile and a defender of pedophiles. Everybody above and in prior pages accusing Roblox of being a haven for pedophiles/groomers is 100% correct.

I cannot wait for some (non-pedo) politician's kid to be groomed on Roblox, so that this issue is finally acted upon. Realistically, nothing will ever happen unless it's incredibly high-profile.
