Charlie and Blitzo as good friends? Of course, because Brandon Rogers' character can't be out of the spotlight for any reason.

The only way this coukd work would he if Blitz was the fat friend Charlie kept around to feel better about herself. With a heaping helping of pity and condescension because, being an imp, when Blitz dies, he's gone. No afterlife for him.

It's clear that Vivzie and Brandon are too afraid of their own fanbase to have Charlie and Blitzo dislike each other so they have to make them hyper safe relationship friends uwu 🤗they just feel confortable with each other cause they instantly tell the other is nice and good and wholesome 🤗

If Vivzie *has* to make Blitzo be nice then she has the perfect excuse in Charlie's being Lucifer's daughter and even Blitzo would know better than upseting the princess of hell. Maybe make him ignorant and misunderstand her. But noooo, charlie is not allowed to even have a wrong reputation, she "submits to the alpha male" that is blitz.

What is the point of crossovering them if the'll play it safe like this? I'm not saying you need a highly fanficy plot like "Vox hires IMP to kill alastor, wackyness ensues" but if THIS is the canon relationship then it's so boring it's actively harmful to fanon and i'm sure fanfic writers will pretend it's not canon.

Viv's writing is so terrible, it really is on par with the average fujo or popular male character x Reader/Obvious self-insert female OC fanfic. It's rare that I can say that several fanfic writers handle the source material significantly better than the creator of the damn thing.

Viv seems to have gotten the lore of angels and demons reversed.

I'm not even mad I'm genuinely confused at this point as to Viv and her teammates decisions when it comes to portraying demons.

Nah. She's more likely to make Lucifer and Alastor a thing because that's a very popular ship in the fandom. You know, the man who is still very much in love with his wife, and the other man who is canonically asexual and has no interest in forming such a relationship.

Charlie is very much a woman with no solid principles. You think she would try to talk with Carmilla first about not selling angelic weapons to other Sinners. Because you can not convince me that Sinners aren't getting their hands on these sort of weapons to permanently kill each other.

Also there is the fact that Charlie just...doesn't give a shit about hellborn. She cares more about the people who come to Hell because they most likely deserve it, than the people who were just born their by circumstances and are being screwed over by these more powerful and immortal beings. They already have to deal with the ars goetia and Deadly Sins in their daily lives. Do they really have to also suffer from essentially unkillible beings who are probably even more unpredictable than the higher-ups?

Because lucifer hates sinners so wouldn't he make the hellborn dominate over the sinners and the sinners would be pathetic beings who are essentially slave labor? In fact you could still have overlords that by being servants to them sinners get a little better treatment along with those who made deals in life for more authority like alastar. But the rub is that it can be taken away any moment on a whim. And let's not forget that judgment day will come so in the long run it's pointless.

Because then hellborn would opress sinners and Hazbin hell is not about demons punishing sinners but about safe edgy people swearing and fucking and being gay and having an excuse to make "overlords" who are her overpowered twink OCs.
